NV Xbox or PS3?

Xbox, because that's what the game is made for. If we remember back to Fallout 3 release, the ps3 version got lots of shitty problems, like 90° rotated heads, etc.

Didn't Obsidian say they would focus a lot more on making the PS3 version as good as the 360 version?

But yeah, it's being made as an Xbox 360 game so it's probably going to work better on that.

You never know until release but yeah, the Xbox as the primary development platform is the safest bet.

Yeah, and if Bethesda/ZeniMax is still going to be making deals with MS, there will probably temporary exclusivity for the 360 in terms of DLC.

Now the real question is, which preorder pack?

I realize it's a which console thread, but i strongly recommend looking at a PC version if you have a capable box. Not for the usual elitism reasons, but typically the modding community in game's like this can bring out some pretty neat stuff or fix flaws.

If your not interested in that though then yeah, go a 360.

I second this, modding makes for some interesting stuff.

Though my current rig can't handle it (It can just handle Morrowind on medium) so I'm getting it for 360.

yeah my rig didn't handle Fallout 3 very well, so I got it on 360, I will be getting this on 360 as well thanks to the advice here. I will be getting the gamestop pre-order pack simply cause a Vault 13 Jumpsuit will be pure nostalgia.

I doubt that this time around seeing as they went away from Windows Live platform for the PC version and to the Steam Play platform, which allows for better flexibility when it comes to patches and DLC because it doesn't have to go through an approval stage like MS wanted.

finance a new PC at best buy bro, u have both systems... so dont say its a cash thing... if you finance you have 1 year to pay it off no interest. do it. Mods... are the shit. really. i HAVE to play moddable games these days, it is that much better. I bought Resident Evil 5 for PS3 and kicked myself when i saw the PC ver could run more zombies on screen ect and be modded... I use it for non PC titles and netflix (which is the shit... has crazy obscure stuff sometimes like "A Boy and His Dog")now.

anyway help bring back PC gaming in the eyes of the economists or whoever the hell so that PC games stop getting bad consolitis.

Hey, don't say it's the one thing that would conceivably keep you from buy a PC (money), that's not an issue if you FINANCE IT.

He could also save up for one, and buy one the proper way and save some money.

If you have one that can run it then PC, otherwise, 360.
DLC's will surely come to the 360 first.

Get it on the xbox if you're choosing between consoles. It can be better on the PC if:

1. You have a PC that can run it
2. You enjoy playing games on a PC

I actually prefer it on the xbox because I'd rather lounge on the couch than sit in a computer chair... unless of course, your computer is in the living room, in which case get it on the PC (and invest in a 360 controller).

XBOX !!!!!!! i say this because xbox is a better system (but also have ps3). When you play on xbox its more fun and entertaining for some reason. I know because i have it for ps3 and xbox.

Just ordered it today for PS3 since it's the only next-gen I got. I am fuckin' hyped. Hopefully the PS3 version will be a somewhat equal with the 360 version.

I'd recommend the pc version simply because of the announcement of the sequel of cube experimental for new Vegas.

Got my collector's edition on preorder with Gamestop for the PS3. I never experienced any real gamestopping issues with Fallout 3 on my PS3.
