And the crappiest engines ever made. Seriously, what the hell is a Persistent World development tool if you can't even store data properly and have to save your progress every minute because it will probably crash? And for god's sake, there are *still* a shitload of bugs in the game itself. After dozens of patches and some 5 years. What the fuck?slamelov said:8)
Thanks for waiting me.
I liked a lot NWN, specially in persistent worlds created by users. Single player campaign sucked, but multiplayer was great. It's a game with a great community.
Sander said:Anyway, I'm not expecting much from NWN2. It might be decent, I don't know. I haven't played KoTOR2 either so I really have no idea, and Avellone (or is it JE Sawyer who's working on this?) seems to be a really, really inconsistent developer quality-wise.

The idea of being able to pnp without actually having to sit in the same room with your friends (a bunch of smelly, hairy d&d fanatics) does have it's merits.Makenshi said:My opinion: D&D was made to be played on the table, nowhere else; if you want electronic RPG, play Fallout.
I picked up KOTOR 2 the other week, it was on budget and the satellite stations have been playing all 6 SW movies for the past month so I was in the mood. I'd have to say though without lightsabers, slave costumes, wookies and blasters it would've gone straight from the bargin bin to my waste bin. I couldn't imagine playing anything like it with only normal swords and spells instead of force powers.Sander said:Anyway, I'm not expecting much from NWN2. It might be decent, I don't know. People who tried the new toolset say it's about a million times better than the old one. It's already available as a free download, so I might give it a try if I have time.Sander said:Well, it will be moddable if that's what you mean. If it's of the same quality as the modding tools that came with NWN1, though, heh...
