Bethesda has released a new trailer for Old World Blues. It's very 50s. Check it out.

Looks like they nailed the 50's feel perfectly. You can really feel a sense of immersion. Pretty awesome that Obsidian completely outclassed Bethesda in this sense when they actually try. I’ll be buying this as soon as it’s out.

agreed! i picked up the previous ones because i was bored and wanted something to do, but that trailer actually has me really looking foward to it.

This one looks like fun. And the Think Tank that narrates reminds me a lot about Fansworth from Futurama.

But a Minigun with a scope?

And a Dog brain on the side of it.

I really don't know what to make of this... at all. Love the trailer on its own but I just can't relate this to Fallout at all. Even with the whole 50s vibe.

Not doing it for me. Really hoping the DLC will offer more than silly lulz left and right.

agreed i'm looking forward to a fresh playthough with all the DLC, lets just hope i can finally decide between Guns and Energy Weapons ( the endless debate rages on)

I hope that with WIld Wasteland on and a INT of less than 4 the tank that contains your brain is either empty or with only a tiny brain inside.

Trailer doesn't hit my (fallouty) taste. Will buy and play it anyway, though, because I doubt it will be bad.

^but it's GOOD retarded, like in they made it that way on porpouse and with style, not because they are so bad at doing it that it turned out retarded.

Well I absolutely love it.

You can't have a sci-fi setting with energy weapons and artificial intelligence yet where technology barely developed beyond vacuum tubes without a certain degree of silliness. (I recall the examine text for the computers in the Brotherhood bunker being in awe of their 1MB of RAM.)

This seems to be exactly the right sort of silly. We've already got Robobrains, and the semi-canon Fallout Tactics had the Calculator computer being powered by a bunch of brains... so a research facility where a bunch of pre-war scientists have lived on as brains in robots and gone completely bonkers seems perfectly appropriate.

The problem with Bethesda's silliness (and some of the silliness in Fallout 2) was that it was completely random. It was a case of throwing in anything for teh lulz. In this case, everything is themed around robots and cyborgs in the setting of a 1950s sci-fi movie.

This seems like a great DLC for energy weapon players such as myself... but then there is also that crazy machine gun with a brain in a jar, that's gonna need Guns skill.

Ah, who am I kidding, once I've finished Dead Money and Honest Hearts I'll have maxed out Guns skill as well I bet.

There are also those gloves that seem to cause different effects like fire and EMP they show at teh end. So, more alternatives to the Balsitic FIst, I am using She's embrance a lot after beating Honest Hearts.

Rarely am I excited to see another DLC news but now I find myself very interested. Let us hope it will be better than the previous one.

Eh, for the most part, the DLCs have been pretty serious in terms of tone, so I'm fine with them making one that's a little "out there". JE Sawyer already said that this was going to be the most "lulzy" of the DLCs.

Besides, Lonesome Road is still on the way and I imagine that one will be pretty dark.
