To revitalize this site I'm thinking of having an online PnP game on Roll20. It's a free way of running an online PnP game, and I've had some positive responses to this. I'm fine with running it (though there I don't have any mics... so yeah, text only and visuals only GM) but if anyone is willing or excited to be a GM then, please step up.

So the point of this thread is to measure the interest in a certain ruleset and setting. You don't have to partake in the actual game itself to vote, but keep in mind that you shouldn't troll and choose randomly. If everyone who wants to play hates the option chosen, than they get a second vote to change it. I have all the rules to the ones I've listed and some of them are free, like Stars Without Number.

Do your own research as well.

I don't mind GMing one or so.

Also, may I suggest Star Wars Edge of the Empire?
I'm currently playing it in a group and it's a tonne of fun.

Heh, seems that Fallout is winning it by miles.

I've decided to use the retrocalypse rules, because they're fast and simple to play with. They're free so you should look them up, and please offer any other possible Fallout rpgs that you want to play.

@Millim, here they are if you're still interested in GMing. PDF of Retrocalypse rules, though anyone can have a look at them. Also, sound off if you're interested, so we know how many people want to be in.

The poll isn't actually closed yet, so feel free to continue voting!

Cheers, I'll read when I get more time.

I'll plan up a guest session soon, even through I have a good idea of what to do

Roughly, when do you think this would happen?
Next year? I'm busy this holidays, and it would take time to get used to Roll2o and make an adventure on it. Remember, if we're using Retrocalypse we're going to have to make a character sheet as well.

I'm thinking of making a tutorial module myself, in the case Millim can't make it or is too busy.

Also, making a character sheet will not be possible due to being a feature that you have to pay for. Bummer. But I'll see what I can do to get around that.

Works for me.

If there's anything I can do to help out with the getting this off the ground, let me know. I have some (albeit limited) experience with pnp rpgs.

Why not discuss this on the actual board this is meant to be discussed on?

http://www.nma-fallout.com/forums/fallout-pnp-pen-and-paper.26674/
That's actually not meant to discuss things like that. The PnP board is for the actual community-driven development of a Fallout-themed PnP, not a general forum about roleplaying/PnP. The Roleplaying board would maybe fit that better, but I think this thread is fine here in GD.

Btw., I promise I'll get back on the Fallout PnP very soon. Had a loooot of stuff to do and couldn't bring myself to get into that as well, but it really is high time we get on with it.

Out of what in the poll, Fallout RPG, obviously. But I'd also add Cyberpunk P&P, just for the sake of variety. Besides, you can pretty mych roleplay a Mad Max in the latter with the right class.

A Mad Max RPG would also be fun. I guess one could just use Fallout as a basis and remove most of the weapons and scifi thingamagics. And add more cars.
There's a free PnP called "Freeride Warrior", but it's apparently only available in German.
/edit: And there's this in the works:

Oh Mad Max would be fun but ehhh.... I feel like it doesn't fit the Fallout universe. One of the reasons I like the Fallout universe is because of how rebuilt it is. People have normal lives, living in towns and cities, getting on with their jobs. Noth everything is hell or torn to the ground.

Is everyone fine with the retrocalypse rules or do you want something else? I prefer free rules because it easily allows EVERYONE to get them and teach themselves.
