I swear seeing things like this makes me mourn for america's kids. Great, no soccer, tetherball, basketball, nothing. God forbid. Sports = pain. Kids can't get hurt, hell no, it goes against every rule of childhood. It's no goddamn wonder people are growing up to be fat, weak, hypersensitive, and lazy. I have to wonder if any of these parents realize that their protective shells are stunting their children in every sense, emotional, physical, and maturative.
I feel sorry for the little bastards, I'd have gone insane in school if it weren't for recess. Don't they understand everything is a learning process to a child? You teach them to learn by teaching them young, you teach them to be active by letting them play, you teach them responisibilty through chores. Our kids are learning nothing anymore, not even in school. After all, you can't progress, damnit, you might leave some other kid behind. No soccer either, that poor fat kid might feel bad when he doesn't get picked first for teams.
America's education system blows. Hard.
