Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
Several times I've been asked about my nation's political and economic history, mostly to understand where my views in such matters come from. I think this movie describes the continuous fight that has plagues my nation to this very day, between the intrests of the working classes (immigrants who came to work and find a new life and their descendants) and the upper classes that time and again conspire with foreign interests to subdue the former, yet somehow see themselves as more national than the immigrants. Last but not least those who thinking they are serving their nation they actually end up serving foreign interests, another recurring topic in our history.

Anyway, what you see in the movie repeated itself time and again in different places and different times. It's always the same struggle and it happens to this day (even if hopefuly less violently). The more things change the more they remain the same.
