So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
The post-environmental disaster comic Wasteland is set for a July 12th release by Oni Press.
Wasteland takes place one hundred years after the Big Wet, a disaster that destroyed most of the world as we know it. Half the world is now covered by poisonous, rising oceans. What dry land remains is a broken, infertile world of hard ground and harder living.

Into this world steps Michael, a scavenger who roams the wasteland, trading what he can salvage. But Michael's latest find will change his life for ever - a machine that talks in a forgotten language, supposedly giving directions to the fabled land of A-Ree-Yass-I, where mankind's downfall began
Fun stuff, be sure and check it out.

I found this well after I made the update, but they have half of the first issue available for free.

Now I really want to know what that letter says. =/

Damn, it has me intrigued... :)

Don't really like the drawing, and the story has some weird sim-sala-bim stuff, but still... I'm intrigued.

I'm on the fence on the artwork myself, but it does remind me a lot of The Walking Dead, which is a good thing.

The story seems a little bit predictable, the last three pages ruined it for me. Common, she can heal a bite with her magic powers but gets a nose bleed? - crap.

The story is very well exacuted however an the graphical style is original and smart if a little hard to understand at times.

In all I feel its good but its not worth buying.

Well, apparently using psychic power causes nosebleeds. At least, I bet it will be labeled as 'psychic.' Might as well be magic, but psychic has a more scientific/semi-plausible ring about it.

I do wish it was a bit easier to follow the action.

I found it quite nice, the story is good so far and the art really great. The "psionics stuff" didn't bothered me that much (not that I want to see any superpowers in Fallout 3...)

[to the moderator who closed my topic : Sorry ! I did searched the forums with the keywords "Wasteland comics" and found nothing.]
