So I was watching the Lonesome Road trailer, and just thought that that awesomeness needed to be spread. So while I'm at it I might as well replicate the 'Rate the DLC' thread, I thought. Since that one was so popular.
For me, it goes as such:
1. Lonesome Road. The use of the classic theme ties this trailer together into something I actually went back to a number of times long after I had already completed the DLC. When that song kicks in, man. . . . This is pure Fallout. The last of it, we may ever see.
2. Honest Hearts. I love how it tells the story of the Burned Man, with narration and visuals. And the use of the Fallout 3 end slide theme whilst not being used for something that shitty, is a big plus.
3. Old World Blues. Funny. Campy. SCIENCE!
4. Ultimate Edition Trailer. A perfect celebration to a great game. Feels like a toast to it's existence and success in audio-visual form.
5. Dead Money. Effective, intriguing, atmospheric. Not much to say, but still loved it.
6. E3 trailer. Feels more Bethesdian than Obsidian. Still great, but a general gameplay trailer.
The use of classic music in all of these brings warmth to my heart, but in the Lonesome Road one especially. The DLC ones are more atmospheric, and the E3 and Ultimate Edition ones are more jovial and meant to sell it.
SILLY thread or BEST THREAD EVER?
