once i play new vegas vanilla plus dlc, but without mod. after slight dissapoint with fallout 4 i just want real rpg to playing again. this time, though i want gamebyro graphic flaw to be little noticeable as possible.

so looking a sugestion for graphic mod and gameplay as well ( and enb)

my specification is
core i5 4460 3.2 GHz
8 Gb ram
r9 380 4gb
windows 8.1
1380 x 720 resolution

I would say that my biggest gripe with FNV was the shortage of locations to explore, A World of Pain and New Vegas Interiors fixed that by adding tons of new locations and tough as hell enemies. I would also add Poco Bueno texture pack, Fallout character overhaul, and Willow as a companion.

Personally all I need for this game is the cut content restored.

Here's a mod that restores 3 cut Legion missions to the game, as well as Legion dialogue and an alternate ending to Birds of a Feather: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60208/?

New Vegas Uncut 1-7: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61121/?

Freeside Open: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46355/?

More Uncut Content: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46648/?

Primm Reputation Restored: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48918/?

I'd also recommend any mod made by the user someguy2000, such as New Vegas Bounties.

Here's an adventure mod that takes a ton of content from Fallout Van Buren's storyline: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46907/?

thx all really great.

though, one thing that bother me is the DR mechanic in this game, there's little armor that offer bonuses to DR like 10% perhaps. i heard that josh sawyer mod do this, but iam not sure if he is still paying attention in checking the compatibility.

DR is still in this game, it´s just less important that´s all. DT is the important mechanic when it comes to armor.

Thanks for pointing out those mods. Definitely adding them for my second playthrough. I'll have to do some more research on restoration mods too. Is there perhaps something like killap's Restoration Project for New Vegas?

I'm not sure about a restoration project, but both Freeside Open and New Vegas Open turn Freeside and The Strip into what they were originally meant to be. Big uncut swathes of city with a lot more people bustling around. For example, Freeside Open not only removes all those tedious loading screens and makes everything one big area, it adds back a ton of cut NPCs. Drunks, gossips, pickpockets, thugs, more hostile thug encounters, more bodyguards near the entrance, and so forth. It also adds 2 quests that were cut from the game, Rotface to Riches and Pacer's Gambit. New Vegas Open also restores a bunch of cut NPCs (such as the 2nd Tops promoter) and makes the Strip one big area instead of multiple areas split by long loading screens. You can find both below.

My friends are working on a super Uncut mod containing pretty much of the already available uncut mods and restoring even more stuff that are not present on those mods.

It is still not available but they are working on it, and since they are great FNV modders I would say once it's done it will be of awesome quality.

Here, let me make you guys and girls drool by sharing the project read me/credits document:
New Vegas Uncut

if the uncut content were so much abundant like that, i will not even pessimistic if new vegas remastered edition were announced at all.

hell, with remastered we even could get the whole east colorado legion territory back, and cass sidequest romance

So, a while ago, I got back into NV (see here), decided to go with Xbox for the sake of simplicity.

However, since then I also decided to dive back into Morrowind, with mods, soooo... want to give that a go on NV as well. Just looks so much better and worth the effort.

I'm glad this is the latest thread on the NV page, since all the recommendations here are great for my situation - so thank you to everyone who contributed.

However... when doing the Morrowind thing, I was a bit disappointed by the performance I was getting. Don't get me wrong, I know my PC is no beast, but I was hoping to run everything comfortable. So I guess my question is, do you guys think once I've "fully" modded NV (understand: Project Nevada, High res textures, weather stuff, and cut content reinstated plus a few others), it will run ok on these specs:

CPU: Intel 4590T / 2 GHz Quad Core
RAM: 8GB DDR3L SDRAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M

Morrowind was dog slow to begin with, before I realised that I had to force the .exe to use the right graphics card, but even with that I've had to tune down a lot of settings (distant lands, etc) and the resolution to achieve smooth FPS. I don't mind doing that again for NV, but if it's just not going to run well regardless... basically don't want to spend time installing mods to improve the looks only to then disable every option to run smoothly.

I shared this link before, but here we go again:

Although it is in the TTW site, the guide works the same for just FNV.
It is the best performance guide and general performance thread for FNV I have ever seen around.

Much obliged. Interested that this never popped up in my Google results (well, I could have missed it or could be because I was specifically looking around Nevada).

In any case, thanks!

Sounds quite interesting. Any release dates in mind yet? No pressure, just wondering.
