By the looks of it, it's really just Rome Total War, optimized for mobile play.
I highly doubt there will be Micro transactions.

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
Every time a game get's ported to new platforms is great for gamers (and this is why i hope that Vulkan really takes off), but i pity those poor souls who use tablets or phones for gaming. While i love the concept of a small portable gaming device, but any serious time spent on a tablet is just hell on your neck, back and shoulders (and can have long lasting effects), because those devices are not ergonomical.

I assume most people will just use them during travel, and not as an at-home thing.
Playing Rome Total War on the train actually sounds quite fun, especially if I don't have to carry my big-ass laptop around to do it.

Sounds fun to me too, but i would think using a tablet is a quick 10-20 minute thing (candy crush or whatever), but Rome Total War is a pretty long ass game, so if you are going to play it for an hour every month, it doesn't sound like a very good investement and even if you put 10 hours divided into 1 hour sessions, that's still a pretty large strain on your neck.
Now if somebody does not have any problems with this i'm fine, i'm just warning people to be cautious, because i have some problems with my neck and it sucks.
