Truth beeing told Fallout of Nevada already comes with F2se in one of the mod's folders no need to download recent buggy versions of f12se as the old stuff (at least the stuff from before bugs were introduced) works quite well.
You'd only have to specify path to fallout nevada folder. there's an error poping up each time you launch it since there's no fallout2.exe in the game folder (nevada uses it's own .exe) just click ok and proceed to editing savegames.
and as a friendly reminder...
Next time try to post in the modding section as Fo:Nevada is a mod (despite most players consider it canon by now [and rightfully so]). This subforum is to discuss pure unmodded Fo1 and Fo2 games. Mods, savegames etc. discussion goes to Fallout Modding section. Moderators are picky about it (they even left a notice in subforum description) so I'd watch Your nose next time You post here if I were in You.

What are the bugs in F12se?
well I'm not 100% sure it's F12se fault but I get glitches in the game after using it (usually i just tend to add more perk select windows in order to get all 'em perks (so there's lot's of save&load evry 3 levels. I get massive slowdowns when party is big and even if party is just me sulik and vic the game turns into slideshow when encountering Mysterious Stranger. Currently I don't have a savegame with the Strangr picked as a perk (started from scratch after your help with sfall setting and new partycontrol script (the one with BoxBars fix).
Sometimes Sneak goes to 90% from 70% for no apparent reason until i save and load the game back and the game ocasionally crashes when using Vad's editor too much i haven't got a single crash when playing without editing saves with that editor. Plus as I've said the game tends to glitch on small maps after exiting caves I get two images of the map: one centered and one drawn from the bottom right corner. the one from bottom right corner turns black pixel by pixel when i hover mouse cursor over it. It only happens in Fallout 2. Resurrection and Nevada don't have these glitches.
And we seriiously shouldn't derail this tpoic any more, and move this discusion to modding section not to piss off the moderators.

Hey! Is it possible to change character race in Nevada Extended with the Save Editor?
