So its been about two years.

I don't play it constantly but recently played through just a few weeks ago and have played through it a couple times this year. It's become sort of fall back game for when I don't feel like playing anything else.

Sometimes I pop it in and spawn different enemies to fight each other. That's always fun watching muties v geckos or whatever I like.

I'm probably going to pick up a copy of the Collector's edition and play through it again. Probably going through the independent route.

Not religiously, but yes.
Thanks to the Ultimate Edition, my sorry german ass can finally enjoy the game the way it was intended, and I feel that with the New Vegas Uncut mods and Sawyer's Mod the game approaches what it was supposed to be.

I am taking a break after having playing it rigorously over the years.

Still my most favorite game of the last two years but I need to break the habit and put some of that energy into other things, including learning how to mod.

Well, considering that image I posted on The Gaming forum some time ago, I say that yes I still play it. There are some very good mods under all those nude body replacers, Project Nevada and the Uncut mods are some of the best ones. I still play other things, but New Vegas is the game I defailt to when I have nothing newer to play.

I actually gave up on NV for now to play F3 with mods. But for some reason i'm glaring over skyrim on steam.. But 70 EU for a game and a DLC is way to much for me >>

I still got it installed and wouldn't mind another playthrough. Deinstalled Fallout 3 around 2 years ago and I feel no mood to ever touch it again.

Not religiously, but I do still replay it from time to time. Mods extended its lifetime quite a bit though, the way they expand character options and such makes the game a lot more replayable than it would be otherwise.

Another person playing it every now and again. Still need to complete it and want to go through Old World Blues again but the start is so bleh now.

I wish the "evil" faction was something els instead of gayish Roman wannabes :/ Havent had a real evil playtrough since F2 >>

The only "evil" play through is the Yes Man route . . . you know, I don't think I want any faction to live.

Hmmm, I wonder what endings you would get if you killed Kimball, House, Caesar, and Yes Man. Or, would that glitch the game and not allow you to enter the final battle? I don't play "religiously", but I still play NV.

For some reason I occasionally think about getting Fallout 3 GOTY edition only to be stopped when I remind myself again why I really don't like the game.

Mods simply can't fix the terrible story and dialog.

Point Lookout and The Pitt really do a lot for the game. I mean, both areas are far more entertaining than the wastes to me.

It'll never beat New Vegas Ultimate but that doesn't mean it's not worth at least one playthrough.

I often wonder about this. I mean, HAVE there been any organized efforts to potentially put together a mod that "re-dubs" much of FONV (or FO3)? For me, besides the obvious engine shortcomings, the lack of enunciation, acting, personifying, and VARIETY in voices was the game's biggest drawback. But I'd seen videos of mod content that some players had created that INCLUDED "new voices". They weren't great, by any stretch, but they were new NPCs, with mouth animations roughly matching (no better or worse than the game already had) fully voiced dialog. So if that could be created, wouldn't it be possible for a mod to be made to essentially add in a couple dozen more voice actors' audio to give the Wasteland a feeling of there being more than 3 people? Obviously the logistics of such a thing could be demanding, but I just mean, CAN'T it be done, and has it?

Naturally, TDG wasn't speaking about the audio alone, but mods "changing" the audio is what I've been pondering for a long time.

As for FONV 2 years later... I was playing it fairly regularly up until 2 months ago, when some major PC issues started plaguing me. But besides that, I've basically been playing FONV fairly regularly, no matter how much time has passed. I still play FO1 and FO2 for the same reasons; it doesn't matter to me how old the game is, just how good it is.

I'll be giving it another playthrough after Borderlands 2. It's weird... I cant for the life of me play multiple video games.
