No way I am clicking on that, I know exactly what this kind of thing is. Scares me everytime, even though I know it is coming.

I was listening to Einherjer, so the sound didn't make much differance...the picture scared me though :lol:
 
I knew what was coming, so it didn't scare me too badly this time.

My mom and I came across the "Find the Ghost" one a while ago, and decided to show my stepdad (who, at the time, was 62). We put a pair of headphones on him, turned the volume up fairly loud, and just watched. When the "ghost" turned up, he didn't even flinch! He calmly took off the headphones, looked at us, and said "So?" It was kinda funny.

I think they were playing nice music in the background to begin with, but softly, so that you would turn up the music to figure out what it was. Sneaky sneaky.
 
I found a really good one of these a while ago.

Try looking up subliminal.swf.

It shows you subliminal things first of all, then it plays you a cradle of filth song backwards which says out the lords prayer... This in it's self is freaky, then loud music and screaming and rather disturbing pictures flash you - if you show this to someone who hasn't heard of it they won't be expecting the shock to happen at the end of it like most people here did.

I posted it in another thread here awhile back and got a ranther angry response from someone as it woke their neighbour or dog or something like that.

I was expecting that. These thing are stupid. I once saw this one that made fun of them, now THAT'S funny.

How come people still post them again and again although it's considered a copital offense in most civilised forums and generally just frowned upon because everybody's seen at least one of them before?
 
I am SO glad I read the responses before clicking on that...I saw one like it in the past with gentle music and peaceful scenes. When I heard screaming and saw a terrified face I jumped from my chair.

Thank God it didnt happen this time.

I seen an another version of it - a picture of aroom without curtains and question - what's odd with this room. And yes, the face with scream happened.

Then I set up a trap for my bro'. Told him to spot the differences, turned on the volume and left the room.

Man, was he scared, I thought that he'd freak out and stay freaked for the rest of his... um... day.

Well, now he just finished Shalebridge Cradle. Now that was scary...
