Post here if you see Chris Avellone posting stuff about Fallout on Twitter or elsewhere. Put the answer in a quote so that it's saved.

@ChrisAvellone, I apologize for all these questions(I created an account on this cursed website just to ask them!), but I've always wondered, was there ever a planned Enclave/"Bad" Ending for Fallout 2, akin to the Unity ending of Fallout 1?
I'm sure when Tim, Leonard, and Jason were in charge, but not after they left for Troika, the new design leads didn't think it was important. :/ We also suddenly got a huge list of guns and weapons to implement.

There's a lot more you can find if you go back in his reply list on Twitter.

This one isn't particularly interesting but it's recent so why not.

Earlier there were questions on Raul and, looking back, I can't seem to find anyone who's asked this so, if I may, do you have any favorite companions throughout the Fallout series? Any you worked on that you found specifically notable?
Sulik was all-around great. Good dialogue, interesting look, and very systemically-combat useful. Dogmeat is a classic, so can't argue with him much, either, also great.

The amount of hoops the devs back at Interplay went through to try and keep Dogmeat alive all the way until the end (ex: trapping him in force fields so he wouldn't risk his life) was pretty amazing, and another testament to how much he resounded with players, too.

In New Vegas, I thought Lily had a good chance to become a break-out character, but she never seemed to resonate with enough folks. I really liked her concept, though.

I'm turning this into a general thread where we can post stuff from developers.

And for you Fallout fans, Scott Bennie gave Dogmeat his name. He joked that it would be the thing that lived on in his writing career.

By the time we hit Fallout 4, it is stated in a loading screen that pretty much all of the Vault-Tec vaults are experiments, and I was just curious if that was a plan from the beginning with the original team and maybe how that came about if it was during Fallout 2?
My suspicion (only Tim and crew knows) is that the Vaults *weren't* experiments in F1, but the door was open to classifying them as experiments in F2 because the lore allowed for the idea.

Please note that I don't know for a fact, it's just my suspicion. It's kind of like I doubt Lucas had thought of Luke and Leia being siblings in Episode IV because the "foreshadowing" for that plot reveal in V feels "off."
