This is how I feel about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's failures

Expanded Universe material is great but shouldn't be mandatory.

Agreed. Reminds me of Kai Leng from Mass Effect 3and how some people said his character is more in-depth in the novel. Well that's fine and all but the game should be showing me his character not a novel I have to buy separately.

I look forward to your thoughts. There's a lot of good material here, though the big lengthy section is, "the story in the game is broken up badly."

Honestly there's very little I disagree with him on. I agree strongly with the Expanded Universe points.

I'd say I disagree slightly with his comments on the soundtrack. I'm not saying it's bad but nothing stands out to me like HR's Detroit theme or the Hive music.

EDIT: I also wouldn't call it one of the best games of 2016/ever. It has a lot of good, but too much bad to make it "one of the best".

Its a game with one use 'micro' transactions which literally break the game...

Yeah, fuck that, that's the type of game I consider morally ethical to pirate.
