May 16, 2006 #1 D DREVIL919 First time out of the vault Have downloaded mapper v0.99. Where do I install it? Does it have to go into fallout 1 folder? The readme is in Russian. Cant read it. Have done a search but unable to find any info. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

May 16, 2006 #2 M modmaker First time out of the vault You can install it everywhere you want. Open the mapper and change the paths to dat files in settings. Don't use unofficial mapper, official is much better.

May 16, 2006 #3 Per Vault Consort Staff member Admin Dims' mapper did some things much faster than the official mapper on my computer, specifically going through the dat looking for scenery pieces.

May 16, 2006 #4 M modmaker First time out of the vault It is possible. BUT it can easily damage your map. Your map will be unusable, fallout will not open it, official mapper will not open it. That's the biggest problem.
