Weapon size

Does anybody feel like weapons such as All American and Riot Shotgun are much smaller ingame then IRL?

Given that such weapons don't exist in real life no. Yes I am aware what they are based off but that doesn't necessarily mean that they need to conform to every design detail.

It's rather obvious that it's just Striker and M16. And it's not just those, it's some of the other guns too. The models just look way way way smaller then they should be. Their scaling is totally off.

The riot shotgun is not a striker or any other version of the South African Street Sweeper.

it is modeled off of a USA riot gun (winchester IIRC) but with a drum added (like a Saiga would use)

The All American isn't a M16, or any of it's variants. It might by a M4/A1 or, as it's more easily put, an AR-15. Though it's Fallouts version of an AR-15 which the charging handle is put right on the bolt and not where they normally. Also dunno if they have a forward assist.

Doesn't matter what the models were made off, they just look way too small. All American is the lenght of an Uzi, wich is just retarded.

Nope, i think the overall length seems to be okay.

Seem to be quite comparable in size. The scope seems a bit 'tiny', and it might be off here and there but it's not anything near your common Uzi.

But that's just my oppinion based upon simple pic cumparison. And as was said before, they're jsut based upon some designs, so a bit of artistic freedom here and there is okay for me.

.... atleast nobody is complaining about This Machine and the automatic rifle.

This Machine is way too small

And the automatic rifle should not have a pistol grip unless it was a FND model (like the belgians sold to Poland before WW2)

Only reason the scope on the All-American looks tiny is it is a different model scope... looks like an AN/PVQ-31, VS the ACOG on the real version.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Combat_Optical_Gunsight

pics for both types in there... and they are nowhere NEAR the length of an Uzi...

And what automatic rifle in *modern* armories do NOT have a pistol grip? speaking from personal experience, the 240G, SAW, etc all have pistol grips

The automatic rifle in Dead Money was a Browning Automatic Rifle, aka BAR. Which generally didn't have a grip.

And the guns you listed aren't automatic rifles. The SAW shoots an intermediate round, and it's bigger brother, the M240, is belt fed (as is the M249/FN MINIMI), and is generally labelled as a machine gun.

And if you actually use the folding stock on an Uzi it's surprisingly long, but unless it's a civ model with a comical barrel, it's no where near the length of the All American
