Damn Kharn, that is a nice list. Everytimy I list something I feel like Ihave to one up OTB on the unknown-foreign market. This, on the other had, is complete and nonthreatining.

There are atleast 15 other threads like this, so why did you not just top one of them? :whatever:

Sorry

I guess I'm not k3w1 enough to spam topics like "If you were faced with a katana wielding psycho babbling" or "Has anyone been very bored at a meeting/assembly" you know, quality topics like those.

LOL...

I dread the day that "Supersize #1: is it worth it???" or "Furries and Me" become a topic.

As for films, I agree with nearly all the films that Kharn and the rest included and then a couple like:

Aliens
Predator
Goodfellas
The Naked Gun
Old Skool
Bird Cage
Bullitt
Cape Fear
Dirty Harry
Austin Powers 2 & 3

and that's all I can remember off the top of my head...

Black Hawk Down
Saving Private Ryan
Forrest Gump
The Green Mile
The 5th Element
Proof of life
Three Kings (George Clooney)
Payback (Mel Gibson)
The Patriot (Mel Gibson)
We Were Soldiers
Terminator 2
Hot Shots: Part Duex
What Dreams May Come
Armaggedon
Pearl Harbor (newer version)
Unbreakable
Rules of Engagement
Gladiator
Braveheart

Crimson Tide
Enemy of the State
Pulp Fiction
Cast Away
Enemy at the Gates

Of course, who could forget?

Animal House

Not necessarily in that order.

That's why I didn't post my favorite movies, I would have to edit or post addendums all over the place. However Kharn has great taste in movies, I agree with his list.

One movie though, Edward Scissor Hands probably is my favorite of all time.

*edit* Crap see, I had to edit. Fulltime Killer, I don't remember who the director was, but it was a fantastic action film.

Dr. Strangelove
The Godfather
Terminator
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Fight Club
The Big Lebowski
Rocky
Big Trouble in Little China
Star Wars
Escape from New York
Old School

Furries and Me
Actually, there already was a topic on TO like that, methinks. Hehehehe

You know, p[erhaps a thread like this should be stickied so we don't have to see it pop up again and again.

Fact is a lot of great movies are well-known movies. It comes with being great

A lot of the unknown-foreign market is often fun, but I find it contains a lot of bull and some classics in between. Good films, a lot of them, just not a lot of it which I consider better than the listed flicks.

How 'bout I slip you some great Dutch films so you can one-up OTB with those? (great Dutch films...there are about 5 of those)
