your favorite beer :)

A beer I drank down in Poland, brewed since 1600-(something) in a little place called Tyche..(dont remember the brand)
To my grief I have never found that brand in Sweden, or any other place
Polish beer is sadly underated

Well, there is only one beer that deserves to be on my list...

Molson Canadian: Bubba Beer!
It's a 5 liter mini-keg of 5% Canadian beer, how can you go wrong? Luckily I hauled a couple of these across the border before I went back to Wisconsin for the summer!

Try it sometime... It's the true beer of true Canadian Engineering students!

That's easy enough

Local beer (Dutch): Palm
Imported beer (Irish) Kilkenny

I love Guiness, but that's not a beer, it's a draught.

Also, Heineken is overrated. The local Dutch independent beer brand "Grolsch" is much, MUCH better

Usually it's Newcastle or Bass... except for the times I'm hungry. Then it's Guiness - the beer that eats like a meal. :)

I don't drink much beer (not strong enough) but when i do:

Local: Fin du monde (9% apv, golden ale)
Import: Beck's
draft: Alexander Keith's indian pale ale

hmm...let's see...
Local : Tou (gotta support my local beer) and Grans Ice.
Import: Carlsberg, Corona and I've fallen for those damn "soda beers" Smirnov Ice.

Corona and Dos Equis are pissy Mexican beers guys. The best cerveza de Mexico es Negra Modelo. Wisconsin has a lot of great microbrews, the best of which is Sprecher Dark Bavarian and East Side Dark. One of the better regional breweries is Berghoff and they also make a great dark beer although Leinenkugels is also a must have in the fridge. Nationally I'd have to say Sierra Nevada Porter ranks up there as one of the best. Macro brews are ok for a more reasonably priced drink and because I like a good home-town brew I prefer MGD. Worldwide I'm a sucker for Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest although a good creamy pint of Guiness always satisfies. Newcastle brown ale is mighty tasty too!

beers

US- Anchor Steam on draft, but there is also a great ale called Dock Street from Phili.

International- Guinness, for dark. Chamay for Belgian, Kolsch for German, Tiger for Southeast Asia.

el_Prez]you call Dos Equis 'pissy' and you love MGD?

Look back at my post there was nothing said about love, I said among the macrobrews I preferrred MGD, but that is only when I want a cheap buzz not when I want something worthwhile. If I wanted to drink swill on a regular basis I would rather drink monkey piss - they give it away free at the zoo.

Any latino bar/restaraunt that isn't bastardized american has negra modelo in the cooler so there is no real reason to drink Corona. Yeah, its the same brewery but not the same brew.

I can't understand how anyone can like Budweiser. It's next to tasteless! Most sodas have more flavor.

As for my favourite beers... Swedish beer sucks, thus it's very difficult to determine my favourite 'local' brand. If I *have* to drink swedish beer, I think I would go for Falcon Export - dark and nice.

Otherwise I like Staropramen, Pilsner Urquell, (can never remember how you spell those damn brands) and Koff.

you don't wanna know what Croatian engineering students drink...i'll just say one thing - there's a good reason why toilets in my school are so low...

Hey Luke, go to college... youll understand why people drink all the crazy shit they drink. I happen to like budweiser. If you wanna taste something bad, try millwaulkees best, blue ribbon, or natural ice.

Don't forget to collect all 8 Don Cherry special edition.

Yeah, I got the pin-stripe suit Don Cherry one so far. I really wanted the flannel suits, but oh well, I'll just get them when I go back at the end of the summer.

Did you know that they sell these in the States? They don't call them Bubba cans or even have Don Cherry on them though. The only ones I've seen so far have a Detriot Redwings outfit on them with the player giving a thumbs-up. What a rip-off!

Actually, I better add Leinenkugels to my favorite beer list. Damn fine Wisconsin beer, not that nasty corporate stuff that originated from Wisconsin.
