Your Waifu/Husbando/Best Male/Girl in New Vegas?

Knight In Leather Armor

Badger Nutsack
I want to know who NMA's girlfriend/boyfriend is in New Vegas. The NPC that you'd marry or have children with.

Basically, your most favorite character that you'd bang.

For me personally, I'd say Veronica.

My God she's so cute, yet so down to Earth. I enjoy her so much(Except on Hardcore cause she can die pretty easily. Hey Unarmed players, how do you even blink at enemies in Super Hard Hardcore Mode?)
Plus she gets me all the companions I down across due to her console glitch, which I exploit a ton to get all the companions Ito Hoover Dam and fight an epic final battle.

Female player character, Veronica. Even started writing a fic set after New Vegas where the Courier and her became a proper couple just before things go to shit again, though it's been on backburner for ages because I'm too busy with my own works now.

Send me a link if you ever finish it. I'd love to read it.

Possibly Arcade Gannon, in a playthrough I did years ago, he went in and pretty much single handily wrecked the whole of Caesar's Legion before I could draw my weapon. Plus, he is just a genuinely cool character whose shit probably has more depth than anyone in Fallout 4.

In terms of female (cause you know, I'm a straight male and picking a gay man as my husband will make Caesar a mad dog), I would have to go with that girl from Vault 21. I don't know why, but she seems rather sweet and has a nice thing about her. She's just the sort of woman I want to take home so she can meet my mum. You know what I mean?

You mean any New Vegas companion has more depth than than anyone in Fallout 4?

I mean that dump that Arcade does has more depth anyone is F4.
In terms of companions...
Just about every Companion had some sort of depth to them.
Including the Enclave Eyebot that came straight from Fallout 3.
(Maybe that eyebot just wanted to be in a good game).

ED-E is an Eyebot that stares as a major character in a DLC. He's so small that enemies hardly hit him, he has decent armor, and a really powerful weapon. Upgrade that an he can two shot everything. Did I mention he's almost as accurate as Boone, who head shots nearly everything in his path?

ED-E would have to be my husband. "He doesn't have emotion?" Bullshit. His beeping and his awesome music when he enters battle is emotion enough.

ED-E has his own backstory and everything, coming from the East back to the West? This Eyebot traveled across America TWICE without a transportation. Harold has crossed America ONCE.
1000 hours with Willow and Scotch the dog.

I remember getting Willow and enjoying her on my PC. I also remember having that BoS Paladin mod who's fully voice and acted as your bodyguard, Niner, some unnamed kinda slootyish sniper, Boone, Veronica, ED-E(not with Rex because he died too quickly. I just got him to Jacobstown and some other companions which I don't remember, most of the vanilla companions and a few modded ones like Fallout Equestria companions that you get for free and have near unlimited ammo.

I use Niner on rare occasions since he reminds me of someone I know and can only stand in small doses. Desmond and Russell are also on the rotation.

"Ohhh, Leo might not like that, but I'll try, sweetheart."

:wiggle:

Melee in Fallout New Vegas is quite OP man, at the begining its hard against ranged opponents, but get explosives as well and have a lot of dynamite with you, and you might be ok! Against other melee opponent, just hold S, press A or D eventually to dodge some attacks and spam LMB. The key with melee is movement, circle strafing around slow opponents (possible against radscorpions for example) can help you end a melee fight without taking a single hit, so have in mind that speed is very important when using melee weapons against other melee opponents.

This backpedalling thing works great in combination with mines and a explosive build!

I think there are some mods that makes range more important in melee combat, so big weapons have big reach, this helps a lot in making melee combat nicer imo.

I once had a solid playthrough were my anti-Legion female and Boone took to Caesar's camp and wrecked shit, I don't think they'd ever begin a romantic relationship but they certainly made a good couple.

You see, that's dedication. I do love how EDE has this major backstory that you could totally miss by not fixing him up when you had the chance. It connects to F3 in a way, but one could just "This shit happened on the other side of the Country" and render F3 non canon.
Bethesda should take note however, that's how you reference previous games made by other developers well. None of this "There's an Alien City in the Mojave" bs.

Killing Caeser with Boone is pretty much mandatory for me. Always fun watching Caeser's head explode on his throne because Boone headshotted him before he could get up.

Honestly, I'm kinda interested in this "Alien City" to be honest. I want to see it just so I can remember how great New Vegas was, plus I wanna spend a little more time in the Mojave with my friends.

Not sure I'd want to go back to the Mojave if it's Bethesda that's handling the whole thing, Least of all do I don't want them to touch the companions.
