So I don't mind starting over again (for the 5th time) to test the new build and all, but all the characters I created will still be there right?

All your characters are still there. I was even able to load my save(only did a single combat before quitting).

Pretty sure my last save is incompatible. Was experiencing a game-breaking bug that wouldn't put Highpool or Ag Center on my map. :P

Wasteland 2 OST preview should now auto update for people. Find it here:

I should probably not have gone to the Rail Nomads camp this early. I don't seem to have a lot of the skills necessary to complete these tasks. Even though my Surgeon skill is at level 3, I made a critical failure performing it on an NPC and nearly killed him. Level 3 surgeon and it's not good enough. I even, during one random encounter, killed one of my teammates by performing Surgeon on him post-battle. WTF? >_<

That sound too hash to me...
I guess skill level 3 mean he or she has skill of normal surgeon
and many situation are not easily solved with that? too harsh.. what a brutal wasteland...

Well, 3 is rather low.

Harsh is good, Wasteland never held hands either.

My teammate went down in a random encounter. He had 0 Con. Only way to make him conscious was to do Surgery apparently. Yet with a 3 in the skill (My characters are only level 2 right now), I killed him with one attempt. There's harsh and then there's harsh.

Didn't matter really anyway, since I just reloaded a save. But still... *shrug*

Fair enough. I'd let inXile know; more info is always better than less, for purposes of balancing and difficulty scaling.

Yeah, I'll pass it on as a suggestion using codecenter at some point. I'm compiling a list of other bugs to submit as well. It's pretty buggy even after the latest patch. Way more stable at least, but still pretty buggy.
