You gotta love that Bayesian average list, my top four is exactly the same.

Sort of stupid they left out action rpg's like the Diablo series.
 
I agree. They have weird standards for RPG's. Yeah my top list looks similar.
 
This doesn't meant we can't finish ours. We just need to present them well.

We could do other Top 50's things related to Fallout. Maybe in 500 years we can have top 50 Fallout games.

But seriously. We are a (original) fallout fan site. We can do top 50 Fallout villains. Top 50 Fallout enemies. Top 50 Fallout Weapons. Things like that, that are related only to Fallout 1 and 2 (maybe New Vegas).
 
JA2 is similar to WL to me.
WL without quest or puzzle but full of combat and management.

I don't count Darksoul as a RPG but action game.
it's more like Castlevania than Ultima underworld style games(include it's predecessors: King's field series.)

is really Torment worths no1?
from what I heard from other forum, it doesn't worth that much.

JA2 has more in depth combat though, and more management. Both however have choices and consequences that outclass many modern RPGs.

Then you're wrong. Dark Souls is an RPG with an intricate character creation outclassing even Diablo in some aspects.

maybe so or maybe not. it has some elements of RPG. but it's gameplay is much more like actions games.

the best RPG should be great as a RPG, not as a novel.
and good RPG elements means quest, dungeon and exploration.

You have no problems with New Reno, or ghosts and whatnot in Fallout 2? And you wouldn't want party management in them? Hmmm? :wink:

Also yeah, I wouldn't class Dark Souls nor Diablo II as pure rpg's. ARPG's probably.
 
Both 1,2 has flaws.
but that doesn't make both of them not a RPG.
what I exactly mean was, Fo1,2's aspect(or spirit?) of RPG is not flawed.
too bad NV's aspect of RPG is flawed by beth's idiotic system..

and actually, ghost, Reno are matter about Fo2 isn't well fit with Fallout's theme or cannon.
not about Fo2 is flawed as a RPG.
