Fucking fuck fuck, this forum turned out exactly like I expected!

Doesn't matter what I heard from elsewhere, the sites reputation is exactly as outsiders make it out to be.

But, in all seriousness, after listening to the podcasts for 5 minutes, and looking at every single fucking forum post, I'm severely disappointed to admit that this site, it's reputation, and how it is perceived by others, is 100% true.

Stero-fucking-types that this place produces are, unfortunately, completely correct. The podcast furthers this opinion as most of you, as someone on another website put it, sound like "the typical nerd".

BUT, there is a light in the darkness, a beacon of hope. This place, its users, the actual people who visit here, all seem like generally quality people.

I will enjoy impersonating Superman and contributing to the discussion in this place because you, the people, changed my opinion of this place

Not trying to be an ass or anything but your post confuses me quite a lot :confused:.

You say this forum is exactly like you expected (makes me believe your intention is to say this forum is bad somehow) but then you say "This place, its users, the actual people who visit here, all seem like generally quality people." Aren't forums made by it's users, the people who post there?

So is the forum a bad or good place? :confused:

Also why do you imply that "the typical nerd" is a bad person? :scratch:

To be honest I consider most people around here opinionated "assholes" (me included) :drunk:and not really nerds at all (with the exception of @Hassknecht since he is actually a scientist or at least he deals with and knows about SCIENCE! or something).

Most opinionated assholes i have see these days are those who feel they need to defend a certain thing they see it as second coming.

Yeah, I've sort of stopped the superman thing, I'm done with that.

Also, are there any active admins? Just wondering.
 
Moderators have most of the permissions needed to keep the site free of trolls, they can ban members, delete posts, vat threads, Etc. basically I don't think he needs to be an admin.
Either way the sites reputation and the ignore button seems to keep most of the problematic posters away, the only thing Hassknecht really has to contend with (from my understanding) is off topic posting and spam.
