Fallout 4 Season Pass Steam Reviews

I'm willing (but not going) to bet money that Elder Scrolls 6 have a season pass as well but Bethesda will use a fancier name to hide it like "Content Certificate" or "Legendary License" so that people would fall for it.
Even the Bethesda forums have people angry about how bad the Season Pass turned out. I think we've hit "Peak Bethesda."

One of the reviews points out how similar Automatron was to the Fallout 3 quest "The Superhuman Gambit" and I have to agree - it's like paying for a total rehash of that quest only now we pay extra for it. They've gotten so lazy with this crap.

Awareness? From the mainstream? Also yeah, Automatron looked quite dull from a playthrough I watched and its ending pales in comparison to every DLC ending from New Vegas.
There is still hope for Bethesda to learn from their mistakes. A fool's hope, mind you.

LOL the ending to Automatron has the main character...I can't even remember her name because all the characters are so forgettable...she ends up acting as Preston Gravy and giving you endless MMO quests to "destroy the rogue robot." It's how everything is in Fallout 4 - you get a bunch of MMO quests from different characters and that's about it.

More radiant quests? :wall: Super... Lemme go ask Preston if I can do these ones too...

Meanwhile, Witcher 3's Hearts of Stone had so much content and depth to it despite said DLC not being related to the main story. The Hearts of Stone expansion is usually the thing that shuts down any brittle defence of Automatron immediately.

And what's worse, is that she's also a pretty decent crafting supply vendor. Every time I go to her for supplies, she's telling me to go kill more robots.

I payed 30 usd and feel like I was ripped off like crazy.

I can't even imagine how bitter are people who bought pipboy or season pass for 50$.

Bethesda is great, DLCs will fix everything, you should be grateful for increase in price./s

Seriously fuck those people, serves them right.

Also thanks for a reminder I have to write more negative reviews for farcryout 4.

I picked it up thinking I was going to get enjoyable DLC like Fallout 3.
As nuch as it sucked, I'd consider parts of Mothership Zeta "enjoyable" (emphasis on the Quotation marks).
Out of all the DLC that's been released so far, I can only consider Far Harbor enjoyable, and the biggest thing pulling it back was that it didn't have its own identity.

Well, it looks like Nuka World has that at least...
Not the kind of thing I expected when I played Fallout 3, and it's even more suprising for those who have been there since the begening.

Yep, the hate is warrented.

I got it for Christmas because its all i could think of off the top of my head when my sister asked what I wanted. I'd of not bought it myself, especially not for the new asking price.

I liked Far Harbour, but when Old World Blues, Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts all cost like £6.50 and Harbour costs £20 it really puts things into perspective.

Why buy the season pass though? It's not like the content had high expectations.

I'm glad I didn't get the season pass. Far Harbor looks nice but everything else is just crafting nonsense. Not to mention Automatron's content is equal to that of Hearthfire's yet it costs 3x more.

I picked it simply because I thought the DLC would at least be decent.
I knew the game wasn't going to be amazing, but thought we would get decent DLC with it, and I knew I would have picked up the DLC for it eventually, so at the time, £25 wasn't too bad.

That being said, I wouldn't be interested in 4/6 of this DLC Content.
So for me, the £25 was a waste.

As a person who has bought the season pass, I strongly regret it. It was a complete waste of money I could've probably bought a newer triple A game that actually lived up to the hype. Two big DLC's and like 4 settlement mods? Bethesda even knows how well they can do making big DLC's as shown by Fallout 3. Bethesda got greedy.

What, people didn't like crafting? Shame. Seriously though, no wonder the folks is pissed since there's only one real and valuable expansion pack in the whole DLC list, overpriced too.

Steam review-apologist strikes back:
As I couple of people have pointed out in the positive reviews which really they should be more of, the main reason people are rating this so badly is just people there so annoyed with themselves for not getting the server pass when it was at it's lower price of 25 quid, I got the season pass when I got the game when it first came out (got it on disc by the not, not straight off Steam). The DLC's that add new story missions into the game have been really decent, yes Automatron was little short but you got some decent gear from it and a robot friend or more, depending on how many you build.

With the new DLC's coming out over the next couple of months makes this season pass even more better for value again if you got it before the price went up. So stop being so salty and enjoy the game...

LOL if you go to the Fallout 4 Season Pass Steam page and scroll down to reviews it is a SEA OF RED. Mostly Negative in both "recent" and "overall" categories. I have to click "load more reviews" just to find a positive one now. Just complete negative reviews scrolling down. What a mess.

Good job Bethesda, you're responsible for one of the biggest, if not THE biggest blunders in the history of videogames.

And it's almost official: Fallout 4 is set to become the lowest rated Fallout game AND lowest rated Bethesda game on Steam unless Nuka World and Vault Tec Workshop somehow manages to cause thousands of people to change their ratings.

They nailed it, they deserve a medal. It's basically a Horse Armour 2.0 but even more painful since it also a significant part of big lies about settlement mechanic being totally optional business. Yes it's a lie since if it's so optional, season pass wouldn't being 5/6 about crafting and settlements.
