We look forward to seeing how this unique portfolio of interactive entertainment icons will evolve for the worldwide audience," states Eric Caen, President of Interplay.

Leading? Was this press release written in 1999?

Regardless, this could turn out okay. Maybe Volition can get Freespace back. Or maybe Brian Fargo can pick up Dark Alliance and make a Numenara game out of it. :P

I would also love a new MDK but I'm not sure who could make a good game out of it except for Bioware since they made the second game, but I don't want EA anywhere near that IP. >_>

I should buy a shit of shares from Interplay and create my utopia

Volition should get Freespace back, and maybe Descent to finally combine Red Faction and Descent. The second golden age of space games is coming, anyway!
I'd actually not mind Bethesda buying Kingpin, their latest publishing efforts in FPS games were decent, and I'd certainly like to see Arkane Studios, id Software or Raven Software give it a go.
Wow, I can't believe that there really is a remote possibility for someone picking up Kingpin.
The grimy, rotten world of Kingpin with its awesome art design in a proper new engine? Fuck yeah.

How much would the earth worm jim propitey worth ? I'd like to make an earth worm jim game why the fuck not

I'm actually inclined to buy an IP and do nothing with it.
Just to annoy people
Me too. Though I would like to see an earthworm Jim game in the style ps2 era platformers. Like ratchet and clank, jak and Daxter, spyro, crash bandicoot, or even spongebob battle for bikini bottom...

Yeah but how much is that actual worth ? I can't imagine an IP from like 10 years ago can actually be that much money. Like super seriously they literally cant be worth crap all. Because say you where to make a game you'd still actually have to make it.

Yeah me too or dam fudge it i'd rather see him in a AAA xboxone -ps4 title

I'd pay £500 for the IP for earth worm jim thats it really i actaully cant see more vaule than that in than that maybe like £5k maxuim maybe

I would buy descent and turn it into a space sim/RPG hybrid
Volition can now put Freespace, Descent, and Red Faction into a single universe! Just to confuse people more who can't get over the origins and names of these games...

Really?! I wouldn't pay anything more than a tenner for an IP
