Honestly, what would make Fallout 4 worse?

Yeah, they could have taken the crafting system out and there would have been nothing of value in Fallout 4.
Honestly, the fact that I can upgrade my weapon, while not keeping the heart of Fallout, is actually a pretty good mechanic to have in RPGs. They allow the player to have a lot more creativity, it's one of the reasons why I like Morrowind so much.

I actually kind of hope there's a crafting system in Cyberpunk 2077, I may not have to use it, but it's there to unleash some kind of player creativity.

I am being serious, can you think of anything Bethesda could have done to make the game even more shitty, please share your thoughts.

Oh by all means.

1. No Nuka World
2. No Far Harbor
3. No Nick Valentine, Piper, Cait, Danse, or Hancock
4. Microtransactions
5. You become Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel
6. You're a Synth and have been all along!
7. Time travel!
8. A focus on how the Pre-War government was superior to the modern day/blind patriotism supporting
9. No Silver Shroud
10. No Sarcastic option
11. Only the male protagonist
12. Synth Shaun has to be a companion

Keeping the older Power Armor mechanics.
Making You the leader of the Railroad, Institue, Minutemen and BoS all at once.

The new power armor stuff while good in theory, was dreadful in execution. Also they basically do make you the leader of every faction until you have to choose. Not that being a leader matters, everyone else is still telling you what to to do.

The only thing I can really think of is multiplayer and micro-transactions. This game really was the bottom of the barrel for me and the DLC was a further slap in the face. wasn't the raider shit implemented in the base game. Being able to choose between the Minutemen or the Raiders in Concord would've been nice.

I think that new PA system is salvageable, just needs some tweaks and tighter relation with previously established lore.

Besides the game could be a lot worse, while it raped lore pretty hardly, Beth could went full Nuka World on the game, thus the lore.

Eh, its not Slaughtering Grounds bad, I guess that's something, but even if remove the fact it's supposed to be a Fallout game and judge it solely as a shooter, there are better shooters out there.

They could had forced the Enclave and Church of Atom and Empire of Dave.

I'm serious. With how Bethesda is so scared of introducing anything new - seriously, the only new main faction in 4 are the Minutemen - they could had thrown in Fallout 3 factions instead. Empire of Dave, beelining for Boston. The Enclave, back again, deciding to remake America - from Concord to the Aleut Islands! The Church of Atom - which DID appear - could had been a major empire, maybe even a terrorist group or Daeshi expy trying to blow up Boston. So on and so on.

Remove iron-sights? Everyone remember how it was trying to shoot something not using VATS in Fallout 3?
it was actually easy enough but honestly iron sights seems like something a game like fallout 3 should have. I remember thinking it odd that it didn't.
