Doesn't the Sarge say something like that?

Lemme see.

"Don't have any? You expect me to believe that, maggot? The truth is you lost an expensive piece of army-issue equipment. That suit is going to come out of your pay, and you will remain in this mans army until you are five hundred and ten years old, which is the number of years it will take for you to pay for a Mark II Powered Combat Armor you have lost! Report to the armory and have a new suit issued to you, then report back to me, private! Dismissed!"

510 years of work to pay for it.

Lets assume US minimum wage.

7.25 times 8 (8 hour shifts), times 365, times 510=10796700

So each suit more or less costs 10 million, seven hundred and ninety six thousand, seven hundred dollars.

that answer my question and yes my question whas related to arch dornan speech

Don't forget about inflation. If we take the Nuka-Cola for example, it costs $1 in vending machines, but sells for $3. That suggests a tentative 300% inflation since the vending machine was built. So when he says you have to work for 510 years it's just because money's a bit tight these days. Really, back in the good old days a personal suit of power armor was a mere 170 year salary. God bless America.

Nuka Cola machines work on postwar money though, while Enclave wouldn't use said money.

We actually have no idea what kind of currency the Enclave uses. Since they are from the pre-war I think it is possible that they use pre-war currency .

The Navarro troops carry Money with them. And if the Nuka-vendors were built pre-war, why would they accept post-war money?

No, I'm pretty sure the coins we see are actual pre-war cash. The Enclave probably mints them.

IIRC the coins we see are minted by the NCR, no?

They are obviously postwar from their appearance.

They might be gold, as their value is determined by the gold mines.

Don't forget the Enclave actively trades with the families of New Reno and the Slaver's Guild, so they do have a valid reason to have money from the NCR(Whose currency is used throughout all of California) in Navarro.

Also, perhaps some of the money on the Enclave is actually Enclave currency, it's just that the Developers didn't have the time to create and implement an entirely new currency for the Enclave.
