Since E3 is coming up in several days I guess I will just make this thread so we can talk about all games and not just about fallout 76 (we all know it's going to be garbage anyway). Any games that any of you are looking forward to? Any games that you think is going to be garbage? Honestly almost all the games on this list look like shit but that is every E3. The only game that have my curiosity is call of cthulhu.

Death Stranding and Shenmue for me.
DS is vague enough for me to be interested and Shenmue is my secret love.

I would like to play shenmue but the shitty english dub and outdated controls always scare me away. Hopefully the hd collection updates the controls and the jap dub will be available with eng subtitles. I could care less for death stranding. All we have got so far was cinamatic trailers that tell us nothing of what the game will be like.

Possible reveals of Cyberpunk 2077 and Obsidian's Cain/Boyarsky game (getting a glimpse of what kind of games they strive to be, whether to look forward to or not). Don't know of anything else of any interest that might be there.

My inner optimist wants it too but in reality, that secret game is still too early in development to show anything worthy at E3, just like the new Werewolf game. E3 2019 is more likely with possible 2020 release date. But who would want it in 2020 'round here when it's the year of The New World by AoD devs?

I'm looking forward to more details about Fallout 76 since I want more concrete information to poke my sharp pointy stick at.

[edit]

Other than that I'm so disconnected from the mainstream in pretty much every aspect of popular media that I just have no idea what is in development and what isn't nor do I really care since I don't buy full price games as I never find them to be worthy of such a price-tag so I'm going to end up waiting a few years for the game to come down in price before I even think about getting it so why bother hyping anything?

The HD collection is getting both.

I do want to say, part of the charm is the shitty dub, I actually hope it stays with Shenmue 3

Yeah, I've no idea what to expect, if anything, nor when. But I do remember them hinting somewhere late last year (I think it was) that some kind of reveal could maybe possibly perhaps or something be expected in one of the big game conferences this year. E3 gets probably the most visibility and coverage so it'd be a good place to say something.

Same. I get glimpses from what other people talk about on forums like this, but I don't really care to follow anymore, except for a few extremely rare cases that hint some promise before being revealed to be boring shit like everything else.

I can't even give a shit about the future Fallout games anymore, not even to piss on them. The series died, that's it.

I really hope that Metroid Prime 4 will make an appearance on the E3 as I have been wanting to see screenshots of that game ever since it was announced.
Like some other fans I have some concerns regarding the game because it is not being developed by Retro, though of course most of the people who worked on MP1, 2, and 3, have already left ages ago.

Kind of worried that it could end up like Starfox Assault.

I need to confess that I am also pretty much out of tune with what is being developed these days. It has to do with that a lot of my passion for games has declined over the years because some of my favorite type of games or franchises have fallen into decline for me.
As a result I barely visit game news websites any more.

These days I look more into old games that I have not played yet because I either do not know of them or overlooked them when they were new.

Fallout 76, the only reason why I probably would follow the news on that one is to dis on it.
Even if Obsidian had made it I would not have much good expectations of it because a lot of the people who worked on FNV have left the company.

Looking forward to what will hopefully be more on Cyberpunk 2077, as well as perhaps something about an actual real Pokemon game for the Switch. Maybe some more info on Metro Exodus.

That's about it though, in terms of things I'm looking out for.

Death Stranding, Shadows Die Twice and (potentially) Cyberpunk 2077 are the games I'm legitimately excited to see. I'm curious about Fallout 76 and I always enjoy seeing Todd on stage doing what he does best.

E3 is shit because they don't show games like this:

I was gonna scream DECLINE upon seeing the release date for IOS and PC, but then the possibility of the PC version being much more polished stopped me and made me think. Releasing for mobile first is also an actual sound business move, although that still means nothing good for PC fanbase, unless the PC version is ACTUALLY more polished and not just shitty port from mobile.

Although, I think I need to start trying KoDP ASAP, since I haven't.

As for E3 itself... well.... I just hope this doesn't happen again:

I was about to watch the video but then I saw that it was made by pewdiepie.
Actually, he's really cool these days. Especially nowadays, with Pew News and stuff.

To be honest, I actually can't watch this specific video, and some other, because I personally can't handle so much cringe.

We are talking about E3 here, one of the most cringey shit fest of the earth, it's cringy every year. Right now i'm watching an ea conference and most of it was sports and corporate asshats who pretend like they actually care about games.

Looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 and metro exodus, maybe some bannerlord related stuff.

Perhaps Rage 2 too, just want to see what the game is all about
