Right. That explains it.
Is it completely random or are there certain places where it can happen? I've only encountered it couple of times and both was in that one room in Peoria.
Being unable to move happened in Peoria, that's the one :). If I selected this stuck character it would only show black graphics all around him and none of the real level anymore.
Damn. All the posts about bugs got zapped. RobertHouse do you remember what was the last thing you were writing about?
I mentioned about a bug I encountered in Peoria. Did you catch that?
Well, I've been testing again with the game and underclocking in my case has zero effect on how the game runs. It's back to square one.
I got the opportunity to try the game with even more different hardware as I've been servicing laptops from friends and relatives.
This time I installed...
Who knows, you might be on a right track there SnapSlav. I'm going to have to experiment a little with low power states. It's worth trying if downclocking both GPU and CPU as much possible has any effect (and setting CPU affinity on top of that too).
For a while I've been trying to figure out an odd problem with the game. When anti-aliased tiles and characters are enabled the game starts to slow down considerably and sometimes even becomes unplayable when the screen is filled with action.
I've been testing the game with different kinds of...
I know your pain. It's a real challenge trying to accomplish everything 100% clean. Closest I ever got was completing all else but the brothel. Yes it all can be done in one go but I think it's just too much headache when playing Tough guy + Insane.
I too got the bug after saving Gorgi that...
Are you still stuck? I recently completed Quincy in Tough guy + Insane difficulty.
I rescued the Mayors daughter like this. First, unlock the side door leading to a main hall. Shoot the patrolling beastlord and start running towards the saloon where the Mayor is kept. This makes the deathclaw...
Me too. Loved it right away when it came back in the days and I still do. I was instantly addicted when I recently started to play it again. It has been both fun and challenging.
Haven't had much time to play lately but just finished Quincy (yes all the way in CTB, not once have I changed the mode) and so far it has literally been insane but also insanely funny when all goes as planned. For example successfully saving all the hostages and surviving other tricky parts...
Well I almost got it. Made a significant progress until one shotgun guy near the end surprised me and shot me to death with one nasty critical (how else). CTB always on by the way!
After I found the lockpick and cleared the area next to hostages I leveled Farsight to lvl2 by simply locking...
Hello everyone a new member here but otherwise a long time Fallout fan! :D
Feeling a bit nostalgic recently so I dusted off my Fallout Tactics CD's. It's been ten years since I played the game and what I do remember is that I did complete it in hard difficulty + tough guy and always in CTB...
