    What is a stimpak?

I assume it contains the same stuff that is in every med kit in every game ever.

    It's not enough.

After Fallout 3 failed to give people their childhoods back, New Vegas made the unforgivable mistake of also not giving people their childhoods back.

    Fallout 3 Retrospective at RPGWatch

Whew, and here I was afraid we wouldn't get the Final Word in this thread.

Mark Morgan to score New Torment

Why is it bad? What is a Numermeanwhatsit? Why does it have Tides? Call the sucker "Torment" and be done with it.

    Deathclaw hunting tips

LR is littered with AMR's so I'd get one of those in good condition. Really though a .308 with AP rounds has always been sufficient in my experience, as long as you get headshots. Fighting them up close is never advisable but if you have an LMG or Assault Carbine with AP rounds you can...

    Command and Conquer-esque fallout spin-off

I'd be happy with another Tactics game to be honest. A COH style game could be fun, but we'd lose much of what makes Fallout great - characters and personality. RTS games, with the endless cranking out of units, lose that. Tactics got it about half right, I'd say. It would be nice to have...

Setting Fallout 4 Part 2 (of 2) – On The Road Again!

Manhattan would be tough to beat if you are talking east coast. Back west, I'd love to see a return to the LA area. As a midwesterner, I feel the midwest would be relatively boring in a Fallout game.

J.E. Sawyer on the Legion and post-endgame play

I've played through with Project Nevada and it didn't seem to make all that much of a difference. I'd still recommend it, but I was slightly disappointed. New gear was nice.

Diablo III proves old-school Fallout can do well today

I understand with your sentiment here, but there is a point where the technology reaches some of plateau that keeps it looking acceptable for the duration. The Bards' Tale games, or Wasteland, or really any game made up until 1995, looks too old for me to enjoy, despite the fact that I...

Diablo III proves old-school Fallout can do well today

Isometric is pretty pointless unless you have a game that requires team management. I can't really understand anyone wanting it back, unless it's for the nostalgia or whatever. With Diablo 3 it made sense, as it allowed the devs more time to work on the story and the real money auction house.

Diablo III proves old-school Fallout can do well today

There never needs to another game like Diablo 3, ever.

Hell is not frozen yet! (Diablo 3)

The other games had effective stories. In the first, you were hunting Diablo. Simple but effective. After all, we hadn't seen Diablo before. The world was fleshed out by the books, and it was moderately interesting. In the second you were tracking the guy from the first, again, simple but...

Hell is not frozen yet! (Diablo 3)

Forget the account hacking issues, I'd be thrilled if that was the only problem. The game itself sucks ass. I was far from a fanatic but I did enjoy the previous games. The stories were fun, there was at least a little character building, and the chance of finding a better bit of loot kept me...

    Brian Fargo comments on DLC

Granted I've only played Fallout DLC, but I think I prefer that release model to expansion packs. The format just makes more sense. It gives the devs (and the consumers) more options, and in the case of add-ons I think that several smaller additional adventures beats one long additional...

Fallout 3 concept artist Adam Adamowicz passed away

sad news but yeah, good to see people are still taking the chance to slag Fallout 3.
