I haven't posted here in months, I check back and nothing has really changed at all. Bethesda must be trying to put off the inevitable mega shitstorm as long as possible.
At least we get gamer achievements now, though.
I don't get the Enclave station thing still. The people knew it was the "Enclave" station? I suppose they might not know what the Enclave is, but why use the name?
I didn't post after reading it yesterday, just wanted to say amazing work and thanks for the preview that actually gives me a sense of what the game is like.
I honestly don't think this new info is any worse than what we came up with based on what we've been given.
Just though I'd ask, is there any aspect of the game at this point that isn't just Oblivion with guns? There's the setting, but everything else is exactly the same besides that half assed attempt at faking TB.
They only had meaningful dialogue in the first two games because they didn't have the technology to include the Fatman.
It seems like they always go back and forth on whether or not to actually try and make it like the originals, but always seem to end up deciding that making it like...
The fact that some random guy was able to make the demo semi 2.0 shader compatible in apparently 20 minutes leads me to believe there's no reason they should have made it 3.0 only. This is the only game I've come across that my PC can't run on highest settings, never mind at all.
There's a 2.0 shader fix for the demo on the 2k forums that makes the game playable, but with a lot of missing textures. That's how I played it. It seems fun, but I can't really tell. I'll probably end up getting it on 360 now, and it does seem like it was meant for 360 more than PC anyways...
My great grandfather's gun misfired and shot him in the eye during WW1. He lived. Bethesda is dumb.
Also, we won't be shooting at the eyes only for human targets.
I think it's a bit unfair to knock it just for being an FPS. It's not like it pretends to be something else. It's an FPS game, and it looks to bee a good FPS game and something the genre has been lacking for quite a while.
As for the rating system, it's always been broken. I don't see them...
