The Green Goblin wasn't deep, he was on the same level of the Lizardon the first Amazing Spiderman, he was saved by Dafoe Dafoing all over that role,. Doc Ock is a good villain, no doubt about that. Venom and Sandman were laughable.

He is completely passive. He partakes in defeating the villains because it's an action movie, that kind of happens in those... That moment in the second movie was the only good moment Maguire had, then he is told he didn't save an old man and flies into being mopey again. Not to mention he loses his powers out of being a pussy on the first place.

GarfieldSpiderman starts his career by failing to save uncle Ben, mostly starts off trying to take revenge on the killer but then grows into being more altruistic, even stopping to save a boy from a falling car and taking it hard when Cap Stacy dies. You call him an emo too. So okay. I already said the second one is the only good Raimy movie. Mostly because it does have a tone that isn't just a campy farce.
