Fallout 3

I'm a big fan of Frogwares Sherlock Holmes series and when I found out they were stripped of the CoC license, I was bummed, but I'm glad they decided to continue on. The new cyanide CoC wasn't the worst game ever, but I'm hoping for much better things out of this.

Not to sound like an asshole, but my issues with the modern Fallout games aren't purely lore inconsistency. The actual "game" part of these games suck ass too. They're open world RPG/FPS where your choices don't particularly matter, almost all of the core systems are poorly implemented...

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. Wanted to love Red Dead 2, but the whole "game" part of that game sucks fucking donkey balls.

It's the closest thing to a decent game BGS has made to date.

I don't think Jim had actually played the original games prior to Fallout 3. I think he enjoyed Fallout 3 at the time like most of the mainstream media and decided the original fans we entitled crybabies because the game he liked was "great".

Picked up Vampyr. It reminds me a lot of the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games and LA Noire by way of legacy of Kain. I'm enjoying it. The combat sucks.

I think it's funny just how much a license will let you get away with. This game, even with its warts, is just Manhunt with multiplayer. Wheres the Bible thumping mom brigade and the fucking "moral" outcry now?

The first game had this issue too. This is also coming from the Mad Max game developers, I expect a lot of busy work and tower climbing.

I got to Egypt and the the grind set in. I intend to go back to TSW eventually. Its easily the best MMO in terms of quality content available today.

That's awesome to hear. I'm really enjoying my time with this game. It's just a damn shame that I can't really put as much time into this thing as I would like.
