    Brother None, is Fargo planning on doing an update soon? I feel he needs to do an update every 3 or so days to maximise donations and keep interest up... Tim Schafer had multiple videos by this point.

    Yep, this is fair enough, as long as it can be completely justified within the setting I'm fine with it. But as soon as something starts to stick out or feel awkward... anyway.

    :/ I am deeply ambivalent about this. While cool for NMA and donors, I think this sort of reference and location could end up harming the quality of the game in the end. I don't want to walk into a bar named after a fansite filled with NPCs based around the regulars on the site - whether...

    Yeah, and the first $5k was Mike Capps I think, of Epic Games. Guess Epic are into Wasteland - Cliffy B also works there... awesome that other devs are backing this so much. Notch also donated $10k, I believe. So there's an extra $10k backer whose id we don't know...

    Neogaf are saying that Notch (minecraft) is the $10k backer, a guy from Epic games backed $5k and MCA has confirmed he backed $250. Notch rules. He's trying to fund Psychonauts 2 and has given $10k to both Wasteland 2 and DFA.

    Everyone's watching Double Fine at the moment as that's in its last two hours. Still feel Wasteland 2 should have waited until DFA ended, to maximise the 'initial rush' of cash.

    Fair point re: NPC names. It's really awesome to see NMA and the Codex getting behind a project like this. Especially the Codex, which as far as I can tell has spent the last 15 years hating pretty much everything. I just hope the games themselves (DFA and W2) aren't a disappointment...

    I'm a little wary of the 'be a location/NPC/weapon/have a shrine' thing. Especially if each tier includes all the tiers below as well (so someone getting a shrine also gets an NPC or something). I don't want the game to be 50% of what are essentially easter eggs or references to backers; and...

    Shouldn't they have waited until Doublefine's kickstarter ended? There's like 28 hours left, and donaters will probably be rushing to back that.
