Been following this game for quite some time. This release has come a few good years after I started following the project. And it's a very exciting release at that. I have hope that we'll see a very interesting old-school RPG from a crowd that isn't blinded by money in the near future.

Bahaha, good ol' Duke Nukem Forever. If it ever existed at all.

It is indeed. Took forever to make so it looked outdated when it came out, but (for me) it's one of those games where you can look past the outdated graphics. A sequel was in the works for 5 years (and even had a book written as a tie-in - The Oath of Stonekeep) before it was canceled. Guess...

It wasn't so much the taking a turn part, as it was having too many active games up at once :P Should be easy. This one holds a special place for me. Always loved the live-action animation and sound effects/music/voice acting in this game. I replay it every so often.

Edit: had mine typed up and waited before posting, in which time someone else posted. There are two active ones now so I'll remove mine til it dies down again

Funny you'd mention that because when I was listening to the tracks posted above you, the FIRST thing I thought of when I heard the beginning of the STALKER combat music was the Den music, and was very intrigued/impressed. Granted it shifts away from a threatening ambiance to more upbeat music...

I don't remember exactly what firearms you could get because I haven't played in a while, but I found the Desert Eagle to be very very useful, especially when you had the skills that made it deadly accurate. Since no one has mentioned it yet, I'm guessing I missed out on a couple of firearms...

Blackthorne it is (or Blackhawk for you UK'ers). I don't think I could give a real opinion on it now, since I played and finished it years and years ago. Of course I enjoyed it and remember playing the demo endlessly until I got the full product, but I'm sure in today's world one would find it...
