I'm back to taking someone else's idea and running with it. How's this one sound...
Zeus Cannon
An experimental large-bore, high-energy super weapon designed to fire “Thor Shots,” i.e. highly-concentrated man-made ball lightings. And if you’re thinking that Zeus and Thor belong...
I understand that the weapons I suggested does not entirely conform to their source material. However, the problem with posting a completely accurate representation of said items actually defeat the purpose of the "Easter Egg." First of all it would more than likely subject the game's producer...
I intended it to be the functional equivalent of Star Wars' lightsaber, up to and including the color, traditionally blue for Jedis and red for the Sith.
Then again I haven't played starcraft... so it might resemble some other weapon available in that world which I'm not familiar with or even...
Energy Saber
Photo-crystal emitter uses small energy cells to generate a shaped force field resembling that of a blade. For unknown reason, users with positive karma emits a blue-colored force blade, while those of negative karma produce a crimson-colored blade, or it could just be your mind...
People (me, specifically) have short attention span. It would be easier to think up of Special Random Encounters one would like to see in Fallout 3.
On-topic however, I would like to see a Jurrasic Park-like (Post-Apocalyptic Park, maybe) area in the game similar to the unused EPA idea in...

hmm... that's an idea, SPLICED maybe, Strength, Perception, Luck, Inteligence, Charisma, Endurance, Dexterity. Though admittedly, it is a very bald-faced rip-off.
I forgot to mention the fan-made d20 conversion that used to be around. I think it has since been removed in deference to the upcoming release of the Official D20 by Glutton Creeper Games.
There was also that Fallout Warfare tabletop game that came with Tactics. (not exactly a PnP rpg)...
I've been looking around the web and found these other PnP (or conversion for existing) RPGs based on Fallout. I'm just sharing it in case anyone else is interested. (I'm assuming everyone is already familiar with Jason Mical's PnP, as well as JE Sawyer's plus there's link to them in a sticky.)...
Here's a few of the better ones I came up with for the Fallout PnP in a list i put up in the roleplaying board.
Traits:
Perk Nut
You have an obsession for Perks that is beyond normal. This has adversely affected your intellect and while it does not allow you to gain perks any quicker, it...
Actually there are already several professions available in Fallout2, (personally I think Made Man is more of a title than a profession) for instance one can choose to be a caravan guard repeatedly and earn money and experience from it. Being a Porn Star or boxer in New Reno also counts, you'd...
hmmn... since this thread was revived, I might as well as take advantage of it and introduce myself as well.
I'm Chang, also newly joined. Got the nickname from playing team korea; specifically Chang Koehan way too much in the King of Fighters series.
I don't really play much rpg (PnP...
I came up with a list of new traits for the Fallout PnP, since I don't really play the PnP game (I just like to to come up with weird stuff all the time) I'd appreciate any comment on their playability and balance.
*modified format a bit and alphabetized the list, maybe changed a thing here...
Roddy Piper probably said it best when he said "Listen, you don't throw rocks at a guy that's got a machine gun." :D
A question though, does the perks Bonus Ranged Damage apply to the throwing skill? The game description states that "Your training in firearms and other ranged weapons has...
