Only for the biggest Fallout Fans

Not to forget FOBOS 2, the follow up to this obvious smash-hit game...

    Trinity news

What would be terribly ironic is if you changed the name to Aeon, which was the original name for White Wolf's Trinity but they were forced to change it because MTV wanted to protect their Aeon Flux franchise (something I don't think they care about anymore). They even had to recall the first...

So this means Obsidina probably isn't working on KotOR2, doesn't it?

Interplay annual meeting; Caen is happy

In regards to the specualtions of buying Interplay through public trading: Titus (and thus the Caen brothers) owns 72% of the stock in Interplay. This means that control of Interplay can't be acquired unless they want to sell. So in order to buy the company, negotiations needs to be made...

    Bon voyage!

Take care Briosa. You've done a great job here and I'm sure you'll do an equally great job sorting out whatever it is. :)

I obviously know about Jefferson and Van Buren. Which was the third?

    Fbos preview@GamesDomain

Not nearly, they HAVE given up the PC platform entirely. They've said all along that they're going to focus more and more on consoles so I don't see them going back on that... Besides, as Drakon said, if FOBOS becomes a hit, it's not like they're going to see it as the logical step to go...

More lies and fun at the house of Caen

Interplay killed him and replaced him with a bot that will slowly turn us all around into liking FOBOS... Though his name still shows up as Guest on the News Comments index-page (though in the separate threads it's as it should be). Weird.

    Fallout license goes to...

I believe inXile has picked up the Wastelands liscense. Or I know they have, though I'm not sure if it's the same deal as with Bard's Tale or not (ie they have it everywhere but in the US). As for the Galleon article, here is the Interplay press release...

    Fallout license goes to...

I'm not sure I understand the difference here. Galleon has been in development for some time now and the company that bought the rights to it from Interplay talked about buying the game (ie releasing it fairly soon). I'm guessing the fact that Galleon is developed by a third party could make...

    Fallout license goes to...

They also sold Galleon which definitely has been in development for quite some time and that wasn't sold to Vivendi afaik. Now doesn't this deal expire by the end of next year? So technically (depending on where you place the emphasis) couldn't Interplay give out VB to a thid party developer...

    IGN talks about IPLY

A bit further ahead, actually. I've seen statements saying it was 6-9 months from completion which would be something like 75-80% comlete considering that game's development cycle. Maybe Sammael will correct me with more accurate information though... :)

    What is Caen/Titus up to?

    Most likely not.

More on what we really want

I don't think they'll seel even part of the Fallout license. Currently they've got too much riding on it. They've made themselves dependant on FOBOS being a success so until FOBOS2 is released I don't think they'll even consider it. They need to be very protective of the franchise. If FOBOS...

    The Game

Re: So.... Why? I thought that line was really funny and wanted to comment on it. I did read the whole post, but it was that line that made me laugh. Exactly what difference would it have made if I quoted the entire post? Really, I'm curious.

    So...is there any hope left?

It seems like veryone wants to do a FO3 except the company that actually was developing it. I think the best odds to see a FO3 is if Interplay goes down so someone else can pick up the liscense. Of course, if that happens there's a risk someone with a lot of money (EA) buys the liscense...
