2 questions about modding fallout 2

1) How can i change main dude graphic? I know i need to play the suit movie to get the vault 13 clothes, but how can i change to other pics such as leather armor, metal armor? I tried to change the "Hero Male" critter, but at least for me it dont worked.

2) Is there any other way to get the pip-boy other than playing the vault suit movie?

you have to modify the fallout2.exe file, or use fallout virtual patcher (copyright Jargo isn't it) if you don't want to alter your exe file. you'v to change hmwarr for male player and hfprim for female player by the name of the skin you want (look into the critter/art/critters/critters.lst file)

if you don't want to alter your exe file. you'v to change hmwarr for male player and hfprim for female player by the name of the skin you want (look into the critter/art/critters/critters.lst file)

i changed the hmwarr line on critters.lst file to nmmaxx and my character just changed to the "reserved" critter image
then i changed the first line (the one which says "reserved") to nmmaxx and worked! 8)

In regards to your second question you can use the virtual patcher to make the player start with the Pip-Boy
