Acm2wav not working

righthere

First time out of the vault
In XP Professional Edition, when I click on the .exe, it shows up for a brief second, then crashes. Acmconv lacks the ability to convert files like acm2wav would with the -m paremeter, so I can't listen to the voice clips properly. Is there anyway to get it working? I've tried running it in all of the compatability modes and is DOSbox, but no dice.

Then use GAP instead, it can read acm and convert them to wav as well. It can also play acm, wav and way too many other sound files-types to name here. (Warning; it does not support mp3 type files)

I assume it wants to be fed a file name, like on a command line, there's no selection interface. I used the "Open with..." function so I can just click any acm file, the comp knows I want to run acm2wav on it and a wav file magically appears in the same folder. It works so I don't ask questions.
