Inker Belardino Brabo seem to have put up the inks for a two-page spread that'll kick off the All Roads graphic novel on his blog (EDIT: post removed now, as you expect from Bethesda, but we still have it).

Pretty neat, what? Some quick googling confirmed Belardino Brabo is indeed a professional inker though I can't find much linking him to Dark Horse or All Roads. If any comic afficianados out there have something to add that'd be great.

Thanks for pointing us in this direction, Someguy353.

I really do like the style it's done in.

Does this come with the CE by the way? I checked the CE details on some sites and I don't think any listed the graphic novel.

Yup

I like it well enough, but there's a certain lack of Googie architecture for an atmosphere-setting piece. Still, can't overcrowd the picture I guess, there's plenty of 50s googie around the billboards/logos.

I like the style, very noir. I do hope however, that he lessens up on the dramatic inking a little. Overdoing it tends to become quite monotonous after seeing it too much, thus giving the opposite effect to what the inker usually intends. We'll have to wait and see..

That's a stock inker and those come by the dozens. I don't want to sound negative, but this is nothing special. It (especially the background) reminds me somewhat of the Fernandez brothers (which is good), but they (the Fernandez brothers) have content to save their stock inking skills, and we still have to see about that in this case. These stock inkers simply lack what made guys like Terry Austin, Wally Wood and Joe Sinnott legendary craftsmen of the stainless steel pen nib. :)

I'm still curious as to how the end result will look, though. Could still be really, really good.

I can't remember, is the book going to be just ink and toner or will it be in full color?

It will be colored. In some of the last news, it was said, that Jean Diaz and Wellinton Alves are doing it.

I'm really thinking about making fallout: New Vegas the first game I buy the collecters edition for but I'll probley just get the regular edition. This book makes me want to get it too. Of course I won't be reading the book until I finish the game but still...

i think im with you on that. coasters, books, art, ect are much better than a shitty plastic pipthing clock.
