Are there any respawn money vendors in fallout 2?

First time out of the vault
Like Beth in fallout 1. She respawned somewhere arround 1k-2k money every time you talked to her..any other merchants ;like that? I have a bunch of equipment yet nowhere to sell it. I need 2000 bucks for a car..so...
 
The only ones I can think of off hand are the ones at San Francisco. And I think they are the only ones. (Red Dragon 888 and Flying Dragon, or whatever it's called) The two near the beginning of the city.
 
I don't think Eldridge or other similar merchants do, and besides, only the San Francisco merchants respawn considerable amounts of it, I think.
 
Hmm well I'm sure one of the modders will be along and tell us what's in the scripts but I don't remember having any problems with people respawning money. In fact I used to have so much money by mid-late game that no one would trade one on one anymore and I'd have to pay over the odds to get anything.

I don't have the game installed but I'm sure that as long as you leave them with a couple of coins they'll respawn some more.
 
They restock in 2-4 days as a rule, not necessarily a lot of money though. You'll not have to raise the money for the car the first time you visit Klamath.
 
Oh..well I thought I put this in gameplay..but um i guess i screwed up

So...merchants respawn their money in 2-4 days?

Anyway I only have about 1k and I can't afford the car..so I have to get money, and I have so much spare stuff and not to mention alot of gecko pelts I need to sell them, but I havent seen people respawn money yet...

No, seriously: Have you been to Vault City and Gecko yet? You can get a fair bit of money in those places, it should be enough to get you above $2000 so you can go back and get the car. There's no way to get to 2k when you first come across the car (unless you don't pay for Sulik and Vic and have done a lot of stealing).

But yes, merchants respawn their money in 2-4 days. The only problem is that San Fransisco is the only place where large amounts (thousands) are spawned, everywhere else its like 300 at the most, and SF is the only place where it consistently spawns.

If you amass too many items in one area (ie on yourself or somewhere on the map) you will first notice your skilldex button turn black. After a while save games will become corrupt, crashes will occur,etc.
 
Or you could just go to Redding. There is a merchant in the casino there (in a cash cage) where you can pawn a bunch of stuff. He usually has a lot of cash (at least a couple of thousand), too.

I don't think that money respawns, though.

IIRC it does, but not too often respawn 2 or 4k
