Some kind of lucky
I have been on the fence for the last year or so. Things happen and I get pissed at them as a company, but most feelings are subdued with time.

I have pondered long about whether I will mod for them going forward, whether I will buy any of their games and I keep coming back to no.

I know that the next title they release will be a basic hack and slash/FPS with a coating of what ever the public perception of trademarks are for that title, be it vault-tec, Sheogorath, Daedric to plasma. I know that whatever game they make won't feel like it is part of the game franchise and I will only be disappointed in it.

I had bad feelings about Skyrim when I watched the trailer, I wasn't hyped. I know that when I saw the trailer for Fallout 4, I felt a part of me die inside and that trying to like it would be near impossible.

Bethesda's seems are showing. How they handle their business and their IP is despicable. Their money for less attitude is like spit in my face.

If I every get any of their games in the future, it will be at no cost to me. I vow to never give them money again.

I am done with Bethesda.

I am with you on this one. I actually used to like bethesda before they released Fallout 4. However, after that I grew to hate them.

It doesn't matter what they produce, it is bound to be a disappointment. So, I don't expect anything decent coming out from this company.

Sure, there is a possibility that they will improve, but the chances are too low to bother. Not to mention, they have already proven they are rotten company without any qualms.

Mod theft, bethesda.aids, increasing price of the season pass, etc.

Now they are one of the worst companies in gaming, alongside EA, Ubisoft, Activision, etc.

Honestly, if anyone isn't done with Bethesda at this point, I feel sorry for them.

Bethesda have been dumbing down there games since Oblivion and they've shown on two different occasions that they don't understand what Fallout is supposed to be about, and the differences between Far Harbor and Nuka World shows to me that any times they "improve" it is purely so people will have grounds to dismiss complaints, before they go back to making games which are basically the equivalent of low-budget action movies.

They aren't going to get any better.

I dunno really. There is something about Bethesda games that I simply can't get anywhere else. The way they combine certain gameplay mechanics does provide for a fun little sandbox adventure, at least until the cracks of repetitivesness start to show then it is over right quickly. And there is no one else out there that provides the exact same thing (only better), if there was I'd probably just buy that game. So it depends on their coming titles I suppose.

However, do I think that they are worth 60+ bucks? Absolutely fucking not. I will never buy another Bethesda title for more than 20 bucks and that's only if the game itself looks pretty fun in its own dumb way.

However, when it comes to Fallout I highly doubt I'll even give it a chance. I will not be able to play a Bethesda Fallout game without criticizing the shit out of it.

So am I done with Bethesda...
With the current state of affairs in mind? Sure. I'm done.
But... They could change, and they could learn.
I doubt they will, but in case they do I'm willing to fork over 20 bucks at most for a non-Fallout title.
But I doubt they will. Their games will continue to be aimless boxes of halfassed toys thrown together in a packaged lie.

Lets be honest their last three things they have realsed have been massively disappointing. They where one of my favorite modern games company with other realese from bethesda studio such as dishornered etc stuff like that. However they just realsing crapy games lately and theres no real excuse for it.

I mean Fallout 4 was quite disappointing. Then fallout 4 Seasson pass witch was crapy and also a waste of money. Then an overpriced skyrim remastered. Witch quite honestly there are better mods that are more stable (For better grahpics).

So yeah they use to actual make good vaule games too before they had the rip of fallout 4 SP and a game that cost 32 for skyrim remastered. If anyone pays that jeus christ. I get more gameplay out of a fucking mod than the remastered game.

So yeah I really use to like them/Trust them but I dunno though I would be very careful before buying another one of their games. Not just because they have bugs (I don't midn that so much) but just becuase their overpricing their games witch to be honest have gotten lower quailtly. Again this is not because their games have bugs or anyhtings I can live witch that its just the games dont seem the same qwuailty as they done before. Theres such a curve from fallout 3 to fallout 4. And the dlc compeared to fallout 3 is an actual joke.

To some up ; There games seems to have less quality and the writing is worse the level desgin is not as good. And their also putting up the prices of their games

Yes, I'm done with them.

You know, before Fallout 4 came out I had hope for Bethesda that maybe Fallout 4 will learn from the mistakes of Skyrim and Fallout 3 and be at least an okay game. I was totally wrong after I played Fallout 4. It showed that Bethesda does not care for Fallout, it shows me that the only reason they bought the IP is simply to test out stuff for the next Elder Scrolls games.

Then the DLC price increase, the DLC was pretty much a scam, and also basically stealing mods. The thing that caused me to be done with Bethesda is when I found out they plagiarized a quest mod. That there shows me that they would sink so low to steal another person's mod. I lost all remaining respect for them that day.

Hell yeah i am. They fucked over their consumers multiple times forced people to pay another 30 dollars to play as a bad guy(something that should have Been in the base game). 80% of the season pass is minecraft shit. Now they won't even let people review their fucking games!. I'm never buying another Bethesda developed game.

I do think that I'll give games a chance though based on their individual merit. I mean i'm not really into battlefeild serirs and i don't like DICE or EA. However I really like battlefield one. Although not a perfect game its pretty good attempt at ww1. I won't trust either DICE or EA but its good game in its own merit

Absolutely not. I'd do anything to protect Todd's smile.
In all seriousness though, I was done with Bethesda since I learned of their I.P milestone abuse. I can't forgive them for betraying Developing studios that put their trust in them.

How "done" are we supposed to be? Because I have a feeling we'll be talking about them again soon enough, in a negative light most likely. I wouldn't exactly call that done. More like fed up I guess.

Yes.
They destroyed two of my favorite computer games series. After I played Skyrim I thought I wouldn't buy any other games from them. Fallout 4 just reinforced my resolve.
There is no way I will be spending money on their games again.
Well what was wrong with skyrim? It wasn't badly written just generally bland.

Thieves Guild questline would like to say hello, also the main quest is about dragons and draugr with the big bad black dragon you have to kill because you're the Dragonborn.

Ehhhh... Yeah the guild quests are shite. Well the dark brotherhood quest were good. Not as good as they were in oblivion but whatever. What else is wrong with it?

Gets boring with and without mods installed. NPCs are dumbfucks that run at high level vampires and dragons with only the clothing on their backs and iron daggers. NPCs also never shut the hell up when walking up to a certain distance by them without the same repetitive dialogue. Invincible little shits that insult you cause they know you can't kill them. NPCs like dark elves look terrible.

That faction quest was written by Emil, and was the first use of radiant quests.
And as far as a skyrim quest goes it wasn't horrible. Radiant quests aren't really written now are they?

The only thing out of all that that is really unforgivable is essential NPCs and the shit ai.

Fallout 4 was the final nail in the coffin for Bethesda, as far as I'm concerned. I was at the front of the line for fanboy-hypetrain-faggotry in the days before release and faceplanted into reality hard when I realized it was a piece of shit. I'm never going to allow a game dev to do that to me again.

Short of Bethesda doing a complete 180 in regards to their design philosophy (so, a miracle) I have no interest in anything they put out in the future.
