Ashes of Apocalypse OST

just make one, itll take about 5 minutes, then you can download from there other times

i can say that i very much like the Old World Memories and Endless Dunes song

though i want to ask, first, why is the donwload on there got no .exe after it, you donwload a blank file, at least i did, also, why did you make an installer for a soundtrack?

I'd rather not waste the money. This is the first time in, what, ever? that I've needed something from them? I'm sure someone who uses them more frequently and posts here regularly wouldn't mind mirroring them for the have-nots.

did gamespy recently change their policies, becuase i sure as hell got my account for free

if needs be and nobody hosts it then ill provide my fileplanet details to you

Bwahahah, Ashmodai, thou art evil

Actually I prefer to think of myself as the good guy fighting the evil supercorporations.

BugMeNot is entirely legitimate btw: sites can opt-out by asking not to be listed (which is the same thing most web companies do with their lists too).

Thanks, all.

Thanks Silencer.

Okay, let's talk about this soundtrack a little bit.

First, we'll start with the easy comment. I think it's very cool that you guys made a music soundtrack for your game. Very cool.

Second, some of these songs are pretty cool, others really have to go. The absolute worst (or should I say my least favorite track) is Nuked. To use a word, this track is : "gay". It's way to0 campy and, dare I say, happy? There's just something about synth brass that comes off too ... I don't have the right word, but I really didn't like this track.

Thirdly, I did like Junkyard Outpost, Ritual of the Tribe, and Endless Dunes. These songs were really interesting. Ritual of the Tribe reminds me of the Fifth Element soundtrack mixed with Heat of the Jungle by Chris Issak. That wasn't a bad thing though. I thought the opening track sounded like bad Nine Inch Nails though, but it was still okay.

Lastly, the tracks from the second half sound very similar, Malfunction and Approaching Danger specifically. Too similar, in my opinion. You may want to mix those up a bit better.

Over all, I'd say this soundtrack gets a 5/10. Your long songs are really the tracks on the album and I'd love to hear more long ambient sounds like those then your short ones. Thanks for sharing them with us!

On the subject of the soundtrack: I agree with Sebastian, some of it is good, and some of it isn't.

Some of the tracks really don't loop well (!), and some of them appear a little wrong for the setting. Some brilliant tracks (I love Post Nuclear Playground, but again, it doesn't loop well!), and some comparatively poor tracks (Nuked).

Edit: http://mutantsrising.com/public_files/nwsmusic-idunno.mp3 if you are interested in our first public track, this one loops brilliantly.

Actually, *I* didn't make it, as I already said, Slunk3am and eimink made that one.

I don't mind being called "Brahms" if you want to use it :P.
