Hi, this is my second post-apoc painting ("City Ruins" was the first) based on the Fallout© story. I was always interested in the way the famous "Cafe of Broken Dreams" along with the main Hero himself of course would really look like in real life. Here I tried to describe and portray one of the key moments of the Fallout Universe - a hard to overestimate moment of Chosen listening to somebody and may be already receiving guidelines for the the next "make-the-world-a-better-place" mission :) Dialogues in the Fallout Universe - are one of the basic crucial components that make the game so exciting, so working on this composition representing such significant element was fun and great responsibility at the same time. Of course, each can have his\her own interpretation of each episode or character, I only tried to describe things the way I see them and that's exactly what makes Fallout so exciting and unique - you can always "Build the NEW world you were waiting for. Results may vary..© (Quote from Fallout2 video intro)

Hawly fawking shit! that is golden.
but I kind of don't like the armour though...

Screw me gentle with a chainsaw, that is amazing!
Just a question: How long does it take for you to assemble a picture like this? (With the amount of detail you putted into it, it feels like we shouldn't hope for an answer in minutes.)

...Every time I think my own artwork is getting better, someone sets a new benchmark.

There's not much to say other than pointing out the excellence of the lighting, the texturing, the atmosphere, the background, the character design... heh.
Though I must admit that I've always thought of the Chosen One as being someone in their late teens (Though I suspect that's due to the age I was while playing F2).
Yet this older, more war-weary seeming one has a sort of aura about him that's reminiscent of how I always thought of the Vault Dweller in FO1. I like it. A lot.

I don't see what's wrong with it. It looks a whole hell of a lot like a slightly beaten up and weathered suit of (non-advanced) Power Armour. Just with a lot more detail than we're accustomed to seeing.

Anyway, grade A stuff. It's too bad Bethesda doesn't need any concept artists... though they do have a few other vacant art positions. They, "y'know", could really use some new talent who actually knows what Fallout is all about.

Edit: Wonder what Wooz will think of this. IIRC, he liked your last work.

Hey thanks guys -)

Well, the whole composition took about one and half month to complete. Nothing more than just drawing things over and over again till I get the desired look -)

...Every time I think my own artwork is getting better, someone sets a new benchmark.

Oh it's only matter of time and patience. I assure you. Having high benchmarks is really great - that's what is making your skills higher and higher.

I appreciate your comments guys! Thanks!

In-fucking-credible. Really. Excellent work.

If I were forced to find a complaint, though, it would probably be the woman's face, it's a bit... off.

Waw, that looks amasing, but in a way, it's less Fallouty than your previous work of art.

Still: amasing.

Dramatically magnificent.

But who could suppose the Chosen One would be so old?
The powerarmor looks very unusual.

Results vary all right. And a lot.
Let all flowers bloom, hehe.

It reminds me of Fallout tictacs. While it is cool, extremely well done, extremely well detailed and all that, it has no resemblance to Fallout, other than that it looks Fallout-ish...just sayin' that's all, the picture is awesome never the less...

I'm having trouble deciding - is the poster on the bottom of the bar suggesting we join the U.S. something (ripped off?) or just we join some crazy gunslinger looking type of merc/raider?

It's about the Mafia.

E' cosa nostra, ragazzo!

That is the most awesome <strike>fan</strike> art I have ever seen.

No, not at all. To me it looks like she's got pouches under her eyes, yet a hint of a smile - weathered but not beaten. I could easily picture this as the chance meeting of two Chosen Ones - a male and a female - in the twilight zone between playing sessions.

Actually, more like she got punched in the face and it's a bit swollen...
