The running animations are a lot better than Fallout 3's, the only problem is the lack of diagonal running animations.

Wow, the running has really improved. However when it comes to diagonal running, the same strangeness ensued with Neverwinter Nights 2 if you used WSAD instead of mouseclicks.

Still not good, to be honest, but a lot better than Fallout 3. That's a low level to judge it on tho'.

That and the fact that, judging by the animation, he seems to be running slower than he should be.
I guess it could be because he's wearing a medium armor and he has a movement penalty, but seeing the character's movements I was expecting him to move faster than he was moving.
It could also be a matter of camera/perspective, I'm not sure on that.
The animations overall seem improved and that's good, especially since Obsidian doesn't really have a particularly good history with them (I am looking at you Neverwinter Nights 2 and your oh-so-boring-to-watch fights, and at you, Alpha Protocol, and your horrid crouching animation).

Yep. Seems like some horse first.

Fallout Spinoff #3 can be good TPS, but it doesn't.
New Vegas also.

Check out the map on his Pip-boy, looks a little more detailed I find, but maybe that's just me.

Looks like he's doing small jumps or something and that he hangs in the air a bit. Better than FO3's "what's this guy's problem?" animation but still wonky.

New Vegas in the background does look cool.
