Cant reload my P90 anymore, why INTGF? Fallout 2/MilitaryBas

Richard Fox

First time out of the vault
Im currently in the military base (mutants) and after ive met my first mutant, i spread his body with my p90. After combat i tried to reload my weapon but it simply wouldn´t work

I have 2 ammunations in my backpack:

9mm
9mm Ball

I tried both of them but the p90 wouldnt reload

I have NEVER seen this in any fallout game, is there a way to fix it? Also this is the only weapon im having problems with.

Guys?

Uh, the P90 uses 10mm...

Um WHAT??? :? :? An smg using 10mm (does that even exsist?, and for what reason),lol

P90 are using the same ammo as an Mp5,namely 9mm .....

If u don´t belive me, i checked just to make sure (i thought all "real" weapons in fallout world were based on oures, and they are)i was right it says" the weapon has 9mm 0/25...

UPDATE: I checked an ammo faq and it says 10mm???? I wouldn´t belive it until i checked my weapon, and it worked. You were right but at first i didnt belive you, read what i have writen far down...

Guys wanna hear something strange, after i couldnt reload, i empty my p90 and out came some 9mm bullets, isn´t that WEIRD???? How in hell could that happen? 9mm very odd, anyways thanx for the help :)

There's an "abnormal" HK p90c in Vault 15 that is initially loaded with 9mm ammo - an ommision by the designers. I think they wanted to reduce the complexity of the game by eliminating 9mm ammo loaded H&K. Thus, the 9mm ammo is totally useless in F2 (unless you're playing with one-shot pistols, from the 1.05 patch I think.)

Doesn't it use 5.7 x 28mm ammunition?

*EDIT* Yes it does. Liar.

The FN edition, isnt that the only one using 5.7 ammo?

Isn't FN the only one producing P90s? After all, they invented and patented it...

Strange, the gun in the game is the H&K P90c., not FN.
I had a quick look on H&K's site tho', and they don't list it, so I guess it is FN.

Is that a Fallout tech/gameplay issue? ;)

The P90c is manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in the real world, but for some reason the designers erroneously named it a H&K in F2. This had been corrected in Fallout Tactics.

Yeah, I know about that. I got pretty mad over it when I first realised that Fabrique National was actually the one that made it, not Heckler&Koch; but then I realised that a) Perhaps it was a part of the story and b) having a factory in your country that produces weapons is nothing to be proud of anyway.
