Cars...

fallout ranger

Vault Dweller
I was messing around with photoshop and made these and decided to convert them to FRM.

If anyone wants them I'll get them up.

Those are sweet, Ranger. A little too flashy for my taste, but very nice all the same.

Though heck... If we're gonna start tacking on requests, why not a modified Ford Falcon XB Coupe?

For those who don't get the reference, see The History of the Interceptor.

After all, if you're gonna take out the good ol' Highwayman, what could be more cool than cruising around the wastes in Mad Max's ride itself? ;)

This is where that multi-car mod would come handy.

Demonslayer I modeled a car like that well its not a masterprice

but if someone want to make a better and don't want to create it from the begining I'm willing to send him the 3D files that I made (if he needs them).
I wanted to finish it myself but I don't have enough time :(

The Black MadMax interceptor is the best car for the feel of the game as its one of the only cars to feature in a Post Apoc film and not have big manufacturer support.

If someone could do it then that would be amazing!

Long time ago i tryed add mad max stuff to game, and results was pretty cool (unless i dont have such frms anymore)

This one was made from picture found on this site

This is truck from Fallout Tactics in F2 (as you see F2 and FT have little different angle so its dont fit to road exacly)

Hey Lich your mad max car looks cool.
Well I have a mad max car on my pc too. I made it a week ago but I don't like the outcome.

Nope, all the vehicles in this thread looks amateur and out of universe.

But I'm a damn rotten fuddy...

Yes, you are right. :violent: But better to start somewhere, then not to start. ;)

I've seen that one from a mod (as far as i know related to you) and it looked quite good. It was a charger if i remember.

Exactly.

Yeah, Demon. You're right. Although it was made by artist who generally followed the holy 50s rule, I should have controlled it. Otherwise, it wasn't a total disaster or something - the Charger was only about six years out of universe and (above all) very well made and fitting to the game. With all respect, it was just incomparable with this thread.

But yeah, idea of the day is, damn, don't work on non-fitting cars. Please. :)

Charger looks like 66-67. Fallout is based on early 50's concepts of the Future and not necessarily just 50s stuff. So, to get correct things to model, one should look at the comics that were based on the "World of Tommorrow" as well as concept cars of the time. I wouldn't go past 59, as the styles changed abruptly thereafter.

Here's an example: http://www.automotoportal.com/photos/1958-plymouth-tornado-to-be-sold-by-red-barons/2

Another good page: http://autos.aol.com/article/general/v2/_a/concept-cars-of-the-past/20070723133609990001 More than a few of these were supposed to be powered by nuclear fission or other "futuristic" tech.

Cars, cars, cars... Who need them... :P

Some huge, cool scenery pieces like trains, destroyed planes, nuclear missiles silos, etc. are worth of efforts not cars 8-)

I've sent one of my artists to work on train (engine plus 2-3 wagons) because we just need it.

I expect 50s-fitting accurate work, as usual. :D
