it crushes enemy moral, hence it has military purpose (but no, i'm not for integrating it into games)
 
I've seen kidnapping, assasinations and mass executions in games before and no one cried. It's all standard military tactics. Try reading some books before spouting opinions. At least SuAside has a clue.
