"Couldn't find/load text fonts"

I keep getting this error when I double click "Mapper2".
Can anyone help me with this?

Hmm, crap don't have the lines here at school.

Anyhoo, you need to upate your mapper2.cfg paths (which aren't there at all sadly).

While you wait for me to find those lines, reinstalling FO2 from the CD and then reinstalling the mapper should fix this since the mapper insallation relies on registry keys set by the FO2 installer.

Longer process, but that's what I did.

OK, well, if it fails, here's what you need to do: under the [system] section, make sure to add these values:
critter_dat=E:\games\Fallout2\critter.dat
critter_patches=E:\games\Fallout2\data
master_dat=E:\games\Fallout2\master.dat
master_patches=E:\games\Fallout2\data

Making sure of course this matches where YOU installed Fallout...

Edit the file "mapper.cfg with Notepad or similar tool.

Hey you alright people, im having the same problem except, i tried to re-install both fallout 2 and the mapper to no avial, then i tried doing what you said about changing the master.cfg file,

Tried that and then i get a message saying that i need to insert the original fallout cd and that it cant find the master datafile,

Any ideas, i tried playing around with the path in master.cfg but cant seem to get it to work.

Hope you can help because this is really annoying me now, Cheers
