Crossover

Sublime

Still Mildly Glowing
Disclaimer: This thread is not meant to be serious, but Just for fun.

The premise is: if you had the possibility of a crossover between Fallout and another game/book/TV Series characters or Universe which one would It be?

Obviously My Little Pony. IT JUST WORKS.
I guess I always kinda felt Kingpin: Life of Crime kinda fit the Fallout style, albeit as a prequel of course.
Like, pre-atomic Fallout world, although the points of divergence in history don't fit.

Nice thread idea! My brain works well like this.

Duke Nukem: Lost in New Vegas.
X-Com as a prequel to Fallout with most of the information being REDACTED or destroyed in the Great War.
Marvel Zombies invade the USA Wasteland from another universe with the help of Evil Ash, Freddy Krueger, and Evil Todd Howard from another reality. If made this movie would likely break box office records.

Obvious answer is The Elder Scrolls franchise. We already have magic, orcs and undead so why not?

The MQ would be you looking for an old prophecy about your uncle.
You could heal your pre-war jet addiction by praying to the Nines. If you were too gud Dark Brotherhood and Talon Company would try to kill you, and then fight in epic sword fight who gets to kill you!
Nuka cola would give you frost resistance. Also dragons would blow up like cars. And radio stations would have bards.
And you could make BoS knights use Skyrim armours and swords and Imperial legions use power armour and guns! Epic!!
And everything would scale up with you, so at the beginning you fight with bandits in furs with pipe weapons, but later they get ebony power armour and daedric Fatman.
If you ever use this Emil, give me credit!

Mad Max.

Fallout is what happened to America in that universe, Mad Max could be what happened to Australia, where the apocalypse had different effects.

Fallout and Power Rangers.

Or more seriosuly, maybe Fallout and other post-apocalypse stories? Like I Am Legend meets Fallout (more like the book and less like the movie while nothing like Blood Ties) or Fallout and Metro (with the settings and tech adjusted etc.). Heck for fun, Fallout meets 2000 AD.

I always felt like Fallout was Mad Max set in the world of the Jetsons.

I never thought of that, but I think the RPG system I am trying to develop is actually pretty much as Jetsons post-apocalyptic.

It will be silly and will have all the tropes of classic sci-fi, mixed with sci-fi from the 80's to 2000's.

And since it will be a "fan made non-for profit" project, I will probably be able to get away with making weapons like Phasers, Blasters and even De-Atomizers :wiggle:. Bonus points for anyone that can immediately identify the three IPs where those weapons come from without browsing the internet (come on, it's not that hard).

I am getting out of topic here... Let me try to get back on it:

I would think that a Fallout and Front Mission crossover could be cool. Giant Wanzers battling on a wasteland could be cool, maybe.

I already consider the original Bioshock as part of my headcanon and Jack as the distant ancestor of my characters in the main Fallout games; his superior genetics being the cause of their badassery. The evil ending implies he tries taking over the world so I just go with him having taken over the U.S. government and creating the Enclave.

Also, the way the evil ending focuses on the power of the atomic bomb at the end just eases itself into Fallout a little too well in my mind. So yeah, I always go for the evil ending by killing a few Little Sisters, so what?

Rapture's technology being introduced into the world and being the cause of the divergence in timelines is also too good for me not to consider. What's more, Adam being used to create the F.E.V. is equally interesting.
